Review The Salad Shop (singapore) - Singapore

Good healthy selection of different warm and cold foods and they have managed to keep up the standards over the years which is great. The small human size is 9.5 and enough for me. I prefer salad shop to the daily cut, but just my opinion. I just wish they bring back the beef selection as they had 1-2 years ago.

Been here a couple of times. It’s always crowded and recently even more so now due to loosened covid 19 measures. Be prepared to queue but the line moves fairly quickly. Good selection of food and tasty. Some dishes are particularly salty - like the broccoli. I feel this is value for money because the serving size is good and has a good variety of dishes in a bowl. Food also looks fresh and appetising. My favourites are the lemon garlic chicken, char siew egg plant and hummus

My favourite salad place. Pity that it's located quite far from where I'm at. Wish they would expand this to more outlet instead.

Got myself the small human bowl that’s $9.50. Came with one base, 3 cold/hot sides, 1/2 proteins, toppings and sauce. Ordered mixed green as base, potato salad, pasta salad, quinoa ball and sous vide chicken breast. Everything was fresh and good and the portion was big. Really worth it and will be back again to try other. As per other reviews, it’s always crowded so come early or takeaway.

New favorite salad bar in town! Good food, large portions, and friendly service - what’s not to love? The small human size is plenty for one, and the human is good for sharing.

Food was quite good and the hot toppings are warm unlike some of the salad shops in SG. I ordered the human meal which basically gives you 3 cold dishes and 2 warm ones and your choice of protein. Preparation was quite quick. I really like the serving portions they are quite hefty. Two people can share one serving If you ask me. They also have grab and go selections of drinks and snacks. My favorite part aside from nice interiors is outside. You can have your salad and eat it with the view of singapore river and the museum belt.

Have been a loyal customer ever since they switched their concept. Really appreciate the expansion of the variety of food. Food is always clean and delicious. Highly recommend the eggplant, hummus and eggplant. Portions are always generous for the price. 10/10 will recommend.

For the past week, I have revisited the Salad Shop and observed that they have changed. It is more organized, and staff are trained in their respective role /station. It is definitely a vast improvement in the overall experience, compared to my last visit a year ago. Hence, I decided to revise my rating from a 2-🌟 previously to a 4-🌟. Please continue to keep up the good work! =============================== (this was reviewed a year ago) This was my favourite salad place, and it was closed for the last few days stating that they are working on a new menu. Finally it's opened today, but to my disappointment, not sure if anyone else feels the same, it's not organised and staff is blurred, as she does not even know what the customers can choose. There is no menu, and price is not indicated anywhere in the shop, and number of toppings is also not stated. When it's my turn, there is only three dishes to choose from, and after i make my selection, the kitchen staff serves another dish. So at any point in time, you will not know what is the spread and what is available. Last but not least, price has increased tremendously. I used to pay $10 for a zebra feed size salad, and now there is only one feed, that is the human feed, and it is $13. Overall, the experience is lousy, as there is not much change in the menu, variety is restricted, and the price increase is significant.
