hey Swensen's! what's up with the dinner today? we were told there's 35mins waiting time for food. in the end we waited for an hour. And after a longer than expected wait, roast chicken in mushroom sauce bland, baked macaroni so-so, fries tasteless. I counted 3 to 4 staff in the kitchen and the restaurant was half filled when we arrived, should be ok right? Apparently not the case.
A couple next to us, the guy's pasta arrived and they patiently waited for the gal's order but nothing happened for the next 15mins... guy suggests to share while waiting. in the end the gal's order never arrive! from chirpy to black face can literally see the transformation đ. cancelled her order and settle the bill. I almost wanted to do the same, the only saving grace was your wait crew who's trying their best to pacify hangry patrons. The mgmt can do better than this

Agree with previous reviews that the service is really bad.
Came here at night 1945, told to wait 30 minutes. They are either understaffed to clear the tables quickly and/or staff does not communicate with each other. Turnover is very slow.
Staff named Wulan seems apathetic towards customers. Dessert was slow to serve, had to ask another waiter to serve our dessert which were just scoops of ice cream.
Staff service is really bad as per reviews on Google.
The manager wearing black is hardworking though and patient so I would like to commend him.

Pizza serving was very big, should order to share for at least two people. Too much for one person.
Impossible cheese burger was pretty okay 7/10. Chilli they provided was too much when I asked for just a little.
Durian ice cream was very nice; strong taste of Mao Shan Wang

- Really need to motivate the staff, staff needs to communistic with each other. If the staff are unhappy about their work, this reflects in the apathetic service rendered to customers.

Dined in on a Saturday night, and place was full initially and was told to come back after 45 mins to an hour. The restaurant gave us a call once a seating was available. I ordered the Hangar Steak (MW) - was enjoyable.

Not easy to serve so many customers but the granchio pasta and impossible meatballs were delicious
They even had a live band!

Agreed with some of the other comments, service needs to be better. Wait staff can just walk past you even after you just spoke to them to bring water and had to ask another waiter. The food is good but the menu when compared to the normal Swenson, I kinda prefer that menu!! I was looking for chicken cutlet but thank goodness thereâs the deep fried chicken. Glad the iskrim is the same and I got my coit tower fix.

Service was extremely slow, highly understaffed. A lot of the staff were also v soft spoken, can barely hear what they were saying.
Ice cream was served melted. Food served werenât hot.

We enjoyed the pizza, steak, burger and sundaes the first time we visited end of March that we came again today. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious, well prepared, staff was polite and very busy. Yes, we waited quite long for some dishes but hey, the restaurant was full with families and the staff was working doing their best to serve us quickly.
