First time visiting this place and the last I guess.. was deceived by the name Marche which is well known for their food and I thought this is Japanese style Marche.
Anyway was very very quiet with just one table occupied. I have my reservations about this place but decided to give it a go as was too hungry. The food is expensive, and the tonkatsu I order was fried and re fried pork. A set of mix and a pork tonkatsu set me back by $34!
No doubt its town area, but I definitely expect more quality on the food.

Katsu Don and curry are all good too.
Serving portion are just right so is their prices.
After shopping at Dondon Donki, don’t forget to drop by to experience Japanese cuisine for a reasonable price and authentic Japanese ambiance.

Sort of like a food court but Japanese version, with restaurant prices. Lots of seating options. Came during peak hours and was pretty full, but it was still easy to find a seat. Bought from the Soba /udon/tempura stall and service was okay.
Tempura was really good for the reasonable price and quality. really loved the tempura sauce too!
kake udon was pretty good too, flavourful soup.
All in all, good to visit if you're in the area :)

Tonkatsu Maruya
The Katsu Curry was quite ok. The curry was flavourful
We preferred the Chicken Karage Katsu Curry (S$12) to Pork Katsu Curry (S$13.50), as the chicken karage was big and tasty, whereas the pork was too thin to be good.
If you happen to be there, give it a try.

Despite baring the 'Marche' name, this is just a food court that only sells Japanese food, thought initially to be part of DD Donki's since they are side by side.
The Pork Fillet Tonkatsu set that I had was good though I would have prefer the meat to be thicker cut. Their prices are misleadingly cos the rice & soup are separately charge so what looks like a good deal at $13 ended up to be $17+. Still cheaper than those synonymous Tonkotsu chains, but just marginally.

yummy ramen. this place is convenient & food from most stalls are tasty! you have all your typical Japanese varieties here from sushi, ramen to tepanyaki!

The scent of the meat being grilled lured me here. And it did not disappoint! The meat is juicy and the sauce is savory. The peppery bean sprouts keeps the taste fresh.
Not to mention the egg drop soup. How do you even cook the egg into fine strands?

Went there for a late lunch at 2pm. the Hokkaido Marche Hall was fairly empty. I ordered the Kaisen Don from Kaisen Natsume (Stall No.2).
There was no queue. I waited for a good 20mins and the buzzer still has yet sounded for me to collect the food. I was surprised and went to the stall to check if my food was ready but the perhaps the buzzer was not working.
The guy at the counter only said that he was solo at the stall, hence the long wait.
The food was terrible given the price point. I have never had such sashimi don whereby the fish was chopped so small it’s almost like minced. The rice was warm enough to cook the raw fish in the bowl!
I would have appreciated it if he told me, at the point of ordering and collecting payment, that there is a long wait time. I would have chosen from another stall. Highly disappointing.

Good to have a Hokkaido Marche here. Food is good and authentic! Maybe more varieties/selections in the future!

tried the special oyako don and pork katsu curry don from Donburi Maruya. side order of miso soup and ebi fry
the katsu came a shade or two too brown. while the cut of meat was a good blend of fats and muscle, on the whole it felt ordinary.
the oyako don was prepared with what seem like lean chicken meat (breast or inner filet) which was dry and the sauce was very bland... a tad bit disappointing...
