Never been to Vietnam but always went to Vietnamese restaurant in Taipei with family since 1980.. the grilled chicken Hahn mi is similar as I had before. Will try some others in the near future😃
Today we come again for coffee and beehoon.. very good and satisfied! The lemon water is very refreshing and allow us to taste their healthy, fresh and nutritious no artificial flavours or preservatives food happily🥳🥳

This cafe located at level 2, at the cosy corner of the mall. We ordered omelette banh mi, it taste great, probably one of the best in Singapore l! The drip coffee is strong, not for typical Singapore customer but worth a try. Their pricing is at the higher side, 11 dollars for the banh mi, but overall is a good experience.

Drip coffee is good, can taste actual coffee. They served wrongly so i managed to try both the latte and drip coffee. They served the latte when i ordered drip coffee/white and I was thinking did they drip the coffee and made it into latte because i ordered it "white". Lol.

Food is slightly pricey. It is also a hassle to order the food as you have to do it through their website, then add your credit card, and key in your email to have the receipt sent to you.
Had the dried roast pork and chicken rice noodles. Both had good accompanying sauce. However, there is no Pho available here.
Not much effort appeared to be made with setting the Vietnamese ambience. This cafe looks just like any other and can be missed as a Vietnamese cafe if you aren't attentive.
Generally pretty good food though ordering is a hassle and food is slightly pricey. Will not return in the near future.

Visited Oct 2021: Ordered the banh mi and dried vermicelli, both were so tasty and the baguette was really crunchy. The roasted pork was good but maybe a little bit too fatty. Will definitely come back again if I miss travelling to Vietnam.
Revisit May 2022: Came back again, this time the food menu became smaller, price has increased, portion size has reduced, food tasted like more like Western Thai fusion. The roasted pork was so fatty.
There are other better Vietnamese food in Singapore. Will not come back anymore.

A very homely bistro that serves great food and coffee. Love the peaceful vibe. The food tasted good and it looks really appetising and well presented. Service was great, staff were really friendly and helpful. Overall a place that I would definitely come back to.

Honestly a pretty forgettable experience.
Ordered the duck banhmi and egg coffee. Took around 5mins for the banh mi to be served. The banh mi is really just ingredients stuffed together with no cohesion. The best part of the banh mi is the crunch of the bread.
The coffee wasn't served until after I finished the banh mi and pretty disappointing. The eggy foam was very loose and although the underlying coffee was good, I'm not sure it was a good execution of an egg coffee.
Overall, good menu, poor execution.

Best Vietnamese food I've eaten locally. We had 3 dishes ie spring roll, rice with chicken, cold noodle totally $37 for 2 pax. It was just nice for us. Every ingredient was tasteful n yummy! A satisfying dinner at a quiet corner on 2nd floor! Tip: free parking at IKEA for 3 hrs as its next to this restaurant. Will definitely go again n recommend friends too to eat at La Saigon.
