Review The Bravery Cafe - Singapore

On a Saturday afternoon, I waited in line for about 40 minutes to get a seat in the air-conditioned space. The outdoor seating area seems to have a higher turnover rate so getting a seat there is easier. This cafe also has no time limit on how long you can have the table. Ordering can be done via a QR code, or at the counter. I would recommend going to the counter since you can see the available bakes. I enjoyed the Chocolate Muffin ($5.50) which was very chocolatey and had melted chocolate on top of a moist chocolate muffin. However, over time, the chocolate taste may be a bit much, and I would suggest pairing it with another bake like the Almond Croissant ($5.50). This was hot when it was served. However, the texture of this croissant is more of a biscuit, rather than the flakey French pastry one might expect. It was a little bland and I could not detect any buttery fragrance. I also had a pot of Blue Early Grey Tea ($7) which was pretty good, and the refills are free.

Very nice café with nice coffee and food! Nice cozy vibes too. The staff were friendly and explained the pour over coffee to us and how we can drink it for maximum flavour. We went on a Saturday afternoon, quite crowded. Ordered two main dishes, the huat burger and the presto dish. Very delicious!! They also have a shop behind it that sells coffee beans and hardware.

Food is not bad, coffee is great. However, we had a bad experience because there’s an issue with the online ordering system. Service crew was patient but service recovery can be improved - seems like there’s no clear SOP on how to handle missing orders.

1st visit here tdy, and very aptly on Father's day, had to order papa's breakfast. And a croissant and daily brew to go along. papa's breakfast is very wholesome, toast was soft and scrambled eggs done just right. The cherry tomatoes were very sweet! Mushrooms were were grilled. Only slightly disappointed the sausage may be too dry for me. Croissant was quite average and the coffee was aromatic yet not too bitter.

A perfect brunch spot in the neighbourhood. We spent a lovely morning here for brunch for two and coffees. The café atmosphere vibes are very relaxing and comfortable. The café interior is quite spacious and full with decent coffee scent. Food are amazing, and the coffee are great.

Under radar coffee shop near Jalan Besar and just behind the cafe alley Hamilton st, that is surprisingly good, big breakfast, very yummy and tasty worth every penny. Good coffee as well. Staff are polite but could be more friendly and warm. Interior involves of a thousands dollar worth bike up their wall, old radio and other antiques, very interesting decor 😛will come back for sure.

Good food & coffee, slightly on pricey side for food. Simple deco. Staff focus much on food preparing to notice/bother there people waiting for order food but was patience enough(not much people around still) cooking done in same room as the place you dine in so there maybe food smell cling to your clothes(smell of yummy food all day ? Lol ...)

Have been patronizing this cozy place for a few years now. The food is always so consistently good. They always try out new dishes and it’s all good as well. Staff service are all very good and attentive. Even in weekends, they always put on a smile to make you feel happy. I always leave the place with a happy mood. It’s always a pleasure to dine here with such layback environment in the midst of the city. Keep up the good work!

Great food and service! Replaced my colleague's bagel when they overheard her saying it was too hard. Nutella cake was well balanced, and fish and chips were tasty (a little small, but OK for the price).

Made a reservation for 6 for our dinner. Staff recommended us to pre-order our food beforehand so that the food will be ready when it's time to break our fast. The strange thing is that we had to wait an hour for our food(specifically my sisters) to arrive and yet customers that came after us had their food served first. What's the point of pre-ordering if you can't even prepare the food on time? I might as well had walked in and order since it will still be serve late. Food-wise was average. When I was about to pay, cashier was unwilling to accept NETS when I insisted it was my treat. Instead, he smirked and accept my father's credit card. I'm not sure what the chuckle was for after that. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the mocha was nice even though I had to wait 15 minutes for it. Definitely a first and last time for us.

We tried their so-called signature Lavender Latte (written on some food blog) which turned out to be lukewarm and so-so, taste wasn't strong or unique to be called nice. Pancakes were acceptable only.

Awesome coffee, and the all day breakfasts are excellent. Highly recommended!

Coffee excellent, pancakes cannot comment because I was not serve what was mentioned in the menu. I ordered a pancakes and a latte. When the pancakes came, there was no ricotta cheese that was in the menu. I enquired and the reply was they have ran out of ricotta cheese. Upon payment, I requested for a discount and explained I had asked because I was not served pancakes with ricotta cheese as clearly written in the menu. The cashier replied she is unable to give a discount and even said that only a teaspoon of ricotta cheese would be given anyway. Imagine ordering a flat white and getting a long black and being told they ran out of milk. Please have the courtesy to informed your customers when a ingredient has ran out so we can make an informed choice.
