Chicken drumstick rice was pretty good, cost $5.80, water chestnut drink was $1. Auntie serving me was very kind, asked me whether I wanted other type of curry also and gave some to me. Fried egg was well cooked, not overcooked not oily, yolk was nice and moist. Cabbage was tender and portion was substantial. Drumstick was difficult to eat, will order the cutlets next time.

In light of the corona situation, this is the worst place u can get supper. Staff are only interested in serving native china chinese consumers and not local singaporeans. They have taken it too far and and all should be sent back for the complacency and unnecessary pride that they have been showing.

Skip the rest, and go for the fish soup ee mian. Any discerning customer with an eye for healthier eating would do so. It’s good, great tasting and good portions.
The rest of the dishes here tend to be tad oily

$5.80 for the food + $1.00 for the drink during lunch. It is what it is, not mind blowing, not that bad, filling enough but really greasy.
Unhealthy fast local food at the fringe of cbd with air conditioning and lesser people that popular hawker centers.
It’s in such a niche. If food is better, the place will be more crowded and people who likes to avoid crowds will not be here. Similarly, if the food was cheaper, they wouldn’t afford the rent.

It's a small and cooling food court.
Had lunch here after visiting Fort Canning.
Their Mee Hoon Kuey soup is delicious, however would be best if the MHK is flatter instead of too thick!

Good place to get really fast and cheap lunch, try the chicken cutlet meal or the fish soup

Decent food court and open great hours. It’s smaller on the selection than most but has what you need and it’s prepared on the spot. The quality isn’t perfect, but for a quick cheap meal it gets you where you need to go. It’s located right next to Clarke Quay, which is gorgeous and a nice spot to roam after.

The presentation food quite messy, different from the picture. But the curry is nice and those egg just awesome, I don’t know how the simple egg taste so good, maybe because of the curry.

I do order jumbo pork curry, those pork kinda tough, hard to chew.

Anyways it’s self service here, so better u stand in the corner and wait, otherwise the granies will yell on u like me before 🤣

Located just a few steps from Novotel Singapore Clarke Quay where we stayed. Food is super cheap but very tasty. I loved my Signature 85 Fishball Noodle from Homemade Fishball Noodle and hubby also liked his Pork Chop Curry set from Hainanese Curry Rice. I tried the pork chop and it was very good. We both had my fave chestnut drink. Very satisfied with our late night meal.

Note: we’ve been coming back at least once a day during our 4 days-3 nights stay in Singapore!

The Laksa was great. Just how I like it. Cheap prices and large area to sit down and eat. Thanks to the friendly gentlemen who spotted we were tourists and helped out 🤗
Coming back to try more dishes.
