Nice combination of a omakase sushi counter and robatoyaki station. Allows your selections from both sides. Good value lunch options that spread across the full budget range. Would love to try more of their robatoyaki menu and omakase menu in future

1st time was with clients in private room, 2nd time at the chef's counter. Chefs are friendly once you speak with them, otherwise they don't smile that often as they're very serious with their craft - making food. Simply delicious and absolutely enjoyable.

Murasaki is fast becoming one of our fave places for Japanese food, esp the Omakase. Every dish is on point, and they have a special way of preparing their special sushi rice. If you do have the Omakase, ask them if you will get the Chirashi bowl - magical bowl of all things good!!!

Felt compelled to write a review due to the sub par experience. This is the first I’ve heard of a Sushi restaurant running out of Sushi rice. When we arrived for lunch, basically 60-70% of the menu was off limits. They offered us plain rice instead. In hindsight, we should have left then. But we tried to make the most of it since we were already there. Ordered wagyu don and a sashimi platter. Attached a photo of their $60 a la carte Sashimi. The fish slices were tiny, esp the pieces in the middle of the platter. That’s a sad plate of raw fish. It’s still shocking a few days later. I was expecting large chunks considering the price. I’m sure even their chirashi don would’ve had larger pieces of fish. Maybe they ran out of fish too? Who knows. The chawanmushi that came with the wagyu don was bland, sadly. We asked ourselves if we’d come back if we had access to the full menu - answer is a definite no.

Unless they quality check their omasake, else I wouldn’t recommend. My partner and I went for their dinner omasake for a birthday . It was nothing but disappointment. Such quality control and such omasake menu, DOESNT WORTH $600 ++ for a dinner .

Horrible service, staff couldn't even communicate properly. Worst communication skill than coffee shop uncle. Asked me to sit at a dimly litted place without proper aircon and pay $180 per pax. Table couldn't even fit all of us. Highly unreasonable and unrecomended to eat there. Staff are not well versed and trained to handle any situation.

Simply the best sushi omakase ever. Chef Raymond Tan is very creative in making menu, fresh ingredients, very pleasant experience. Every dish tastes super 10/10. Makes me want to come back again and again. Excellent food and service. All chefs and staff are very nice �

Briljant sushi made by super friendly staff right in front of your eyes. Not ordinary nigiri etc, but creative ones with subtle flavors. Hard to leave this place!
