Review Starker Signature - Singapore

Came here on a early sunday night. Beer was good and cold. Get the roast crackling pork belly - 👍🏻 Pizzas were ok Bbq squid (japanese style?) - skip Place is getting a little tired, probably could do with some new cushions and toilets need sprucing up.

Visited this place with my wife in a Friday night for a drink. Wife mentioned that she loved the lychee beer on offer here. If she’s coming back for the beer, it must be good. For me a non drinker, pretty average as they have run out of coffee after midnight. Ordered the ice lemon tea and was, ice lemon tea. Nothing much to talk about. The truffle fries was good though.

Mixed drinks seemed good, beer was cold, service was fair. The location is convenient. However, couldn't make up for cramped, too closely placed tables and chairs, not very clean table tops and staff more interested in chatting with each other than noticing their patrons trying to flag them down. The only food items we had were a burger and fries plus the parmesan fries. Unfortunately, spent the next day wondering if the grated parmesan on the fries was bad (it had seemed kind of "wet") or if the ice in the drinks was soiled or what. Yup. Gastric distress. Anyway. Probably would not return here as there are many other spots almost the same right nearby. If you are just looking for a cold beer and a place to yack it up with friends, though, Starkers is perfect for that.

Nice lychee beer. Might not be to everyone's liking, but there are few other options as well.

We went there after training session in HPE. Excellent experience in Singapore you must visit. Food is exellent and price is reasonable to compare other restaurents in Singapore. They have Starker Beer. Its only in Singapore. They help you to change your beer to keep the beer chill. Very quiet in morning and night life start around 7 pm. Very freindly staff. Tasty Pizza and Pork dish. I will visit again with my family on me next visit to Singapore.

Kind of traditional the bar feels, from menu, tableware to food and drinks. Pork knuckle is probably the most popular and it is tasty and filling.

Bar bites was pretty good and the beer is worth the trip! They have many branches available but the one at Holland V has to be one of the busier ones close to the weekend so you can expect crowds. Make your reservation early to avoid disappointment!

I ordered the $25 rosemary chicken with mash and veggies. For $25, I expect tender, juicy, 1/4 roast chicken. Instead, I get a cheap piece of chicken chop. Are you fookin joking?! Not only that, the mash clearly comes from a box of dehydrated potato flakes. The only thing that I can say was potentially fresh was the vegetable medley. Even that I’m not convinced by, but I at least enjoyed it. If if you want an overpriced meal from a kitchen that cuts as many corners as a fledgling F1 driver, Stärker is top notch. Won’t ever eat a meal from here again. But nice beer, guys. So there’s that.
