Royal Pears
Unlike your average cafe, they prepare the food with a lot of care. There’s a lot of flavour and the dishes are quite unique and creative. However, they had switched to a mix-and-match format for the dishes when I last visited the cafe in February 2020. Prefer the earlier menu that they had with a wider range of fusion dishes. However, they closed for good in April 2020.

Cosy environment tucked along the quaint neighbourhood of Bukit Pasoh Road. Food served are fusion inspired with healthy choices of brown rice or quinoa as sides. Love the beef rendang, prawn paste chicken and calamari which are a must-try. Service is tip top and attentive. Thumbs up and will definitely be back again.

it's a small cozy friendly comfortable environment and atmosphere restaurant. the waiter and the owner are very cute. on top, the food is delicious! easy to find as long as you follow the instructions, especially from outram park by mrt.

Delicious set dinner at reasonable price! Cosy place for catch up and service is good too. If you are driving, parking may be limited on weekends.

I have finally visited 8 Cafe & Bar this afternoon with bestie and I give 5 thumbs up for their food! It is well marinated and melts in your mouth instantly; leaving you with a sweet savoury after taste.

This place has nice ambience, reasonably priced food, quality dishes that can compete with other fine dinning places. The standard was way pass my expectation. I love the cream burlee as not many places can serve it well. The steak was delicious and tender. It was my first time there on 2 Aug 2013 for dinner. My friend and I loved the food so much, we will want to go back there again. We have been spreading news about this place to our friends and telling them that they should go and try the food here. We'll be back again real soon. I didnt rate excellent because there is always room for improvements and the staff needs to improve on its service. The owner himself does know his stuff and more training should be given to his frontline staff. Last but not least, I love the background music.

This is a terrific little find in Singapore. Welcome smiles from all the staff, plus a tempting menu and cosy atmosphere - and one of those rare places that caters well for solo diners. Roasted spring chicken was a winner. More please!
