Went for lunch on a Saturday, place was not busy, quite comfortable. Had set lunch which I think was quite value for money. Asparagus soup, seared foie gra, steak frites, choc mousse were good. One of the best steaks (+$15) in a set lunch and good sized portions too. Duck confit was too salty for me, but that's probably just me.

Bistro Du Vin @ Zion is the place to be if you want a quiet afternoon. It's lunch set meals offer a variety of delicious food that fills the tummy to it's brim! It's braised beef cheek "Grand-Mère" was soft and tender. The char-grilled Angus ribeye was cooked to perfection as ordered. Restaurant staff were friendly and provided excellent service. Checked in on us to find out how we are doing. Absolutely loved the cosy setting and ambiance!

Food was still great. Was just a little let down with the lack of service staff. Poor guys that were serving us were rushing in and out the kitchen serving too many tables. Used to appreciate the service staff knowledge and reccomendation of wine. However, was let down by the new staff knowledge.

Like some of the reviews before, the snails were yummy. service was not prompt (recalled seeing only 2 staff manning the whole restaurant). 2 of us ordered the steak and couldn't deliver the right plate to the right person. And the steak was flavourless.

Food was good and the chef's choices were excellent. However, it was very puzzling why they were so reluctant to let us let the chef decide when it's placed so prominently on the menu

Nice French Cuisine. Unexpected delicious. Cosy and nice service !

French comfort food paired with excellent wine. Except for the weather (which makes outdoor dining challenging), I felt like I was in Paris again.

My family and I would patronise the restaurant every now and then because we thought their food was good and their availability of wine selection wasn't too bad too. But we stopped after one fine occasion when we spotted a strand of hair in one of the dishes and alerted the manager about that. The manager then went in and out of the kitchen and instead of being apologetic about the 'extra ingredient', he mentioned that all of the cooking staff were male and none had long hair and simply walked away after his brief remarks. That hair strand was not like on the side of the plate but rather mashed along with the food and gravy. That wonderful attitude from the manager really created a long-lasting memory of that place for us so much so that we will never return again.
