Review Keisuke Gyoza King - Singapore

Delicious set meals with great gyozas. The sides were very delicious as well. Notable sides include the egg, pork belly slices and prawn mayo. Definitely recommend you to drop by if you are around the corner.

What a satisfying meal. Everything is good in this diner. You get to choose two small dishes + 1 soup for every set meal. Everything was warm and delicious. Do take note that this is a very small diner that can only accommodate 10-20 pax at a time. Diners be watching the chefs preparing the dishes while they eat. This is a very popular place. There is usually a queue outside of the restaurant. Total bill approx. $40-50 for 2 set meals + 1 Sapporo beer

The best Japanese gyoza in town! We’ve dined here multiple times over many years. Covid period was terrible as they had to limit the seating and waiting time stretched to an hour. But the food is worth the wait. Pricing is reasonable, and food is usually prepared really efficiently. Pro tip: ask for the raw egg; it’s complimentary and a great way dip for your gyoza/sides sukiyaki-style.

Cosy small restaurant. Limited seats around the open kitchen thus resulting in long and slow queue during dinner time. Waited about 1hour on Sat evening 6pm. At a time, only 4 groups of 2 or 3pax can be seated. Have to compliment the 3 staffs on shift for keeping the small kitchen clean and hygienic though there are constant cooking going on. Each set meal comes with rice (choice of portion), 2 side dishes, 5pcs of gyoza ( pork, chicken or prawn filling) and miso or vegetable soup. Chosen stir fried ginger pork and chicken nanban for side dishes out of 8 choices. Ginger pork is a little salty. Chicken nanban is nice and crispy with some egg mayo sauce on it. Pork Gyoza is well cooked with crispy base. Each set cost $13.90 excluding service charge and gst. There are complimentary marinated bean sprouts and pickles. Love the pickles as they are served cold. Refreshing, crunchy and appetising! Good to try if queue is not that long 😀.

First time trying and like the side dishes for the variety! Both the pork as well as prawn gyoza taste good! Could see prawn pieces in most of the gyoza. Tried these Side dishes Nanban chicken - yummy sauce! Tempura prawn - not bad bad the batter for this feels a bit heavy/greasy Sesame pepper chicken - not bad, but prefer the nanban sauce Like the complimentary beansprout and cabbage as they help to provide some crunch. Miso soup was on the salty side. Visited on a Thursday evening at 6+pm, and had to queue rather long (>30min) as there’s only about 14 seats. The two guys were short handed that night, however were friendly and worked fast to serve up the dishes. They deserve a pay raise!

Limited, counter- style seating. Sets are of great value - comes with 5 pieces of gyoza, 2 side dishes of your choice and a heaping bowl of rice. Gyoza was delicious and only complaint is that rice is a little hard / dry.

The place is small, and you might need to queue befire you can get a seat. However, the food was great esp the tantan sauce hence worth the wait. It was also a value for money since they offer a set menu with various dish and of course added with a plate gyoza

My friend was craving to try the cheese beef patty at Teppanki Hamburg Nihonbashi Keisuke Bette during late afternoon. We then decided to go there on Monday at 6.49pm to try the cheese patty set. We were then allocated to a table at one side whereby it was kind of cramped for the both of us. We proceeded to order the beef patties and had a go at the salad bar. The negative part starts here. Firstly, while we were busy eating our salads and also the table had not much space for more food. A young spectacled waiter proceeds to serve our beef patty to us, I told him, “Later please. We are eating our salads.” Instead of acknowledging my response, he asked which beef patty I am having, and then put it on my table and walked away. As a result, I burned my finger due to the hot plate. Yes, I’m astounded by his service. And on top of that, when he was about to serve the beef patty to my friend, he coughed to one side and then served the beef patty to my friend with no apologies whatsoever and just walked away. And I had to pay 10% for this service…. Seriously… Secondly, the Japanese rice that was served to me was pretty cold and hard. So I had to ask the waitress TWICE to make a new one for me. And also I had to ask various waitresses for just a simple glass of iced water. Thirdly, my friend would add that the taste of the beef patty is less good than a McDonald burger. And also the watermelon we had wasn’t fresh. Lastly, this place doesn’t accept nets, credit card, whatsoever. And plus they round-up the bill and charge me extra 5 cents more after the service charge and GST. Why? Just why?... But nonetheless, the Sapporo beer, the huge spread of the salad bar and free-flow eggs did make up the positive vibe of this restaurant.

Finally gotten the chance to eat from Keisuke new concept store selling Hamburg. I was early to be the first in queue, you can enjoy free barley tea while waiting for them to open. I came early as the queue can get really crazy after. This comes with a free flow salad bar and free flow eggs cooked in various styles. They were absolutely delicious. Pit your own salad whatever and however you want it as many times; from greens to noodles, whatever dressings. Eggs of omelette, soft boil, hard boil, sunny side, dashi Tamago. My friend did who came before feedback that the Hamburg was salty, better to own without cheese. I did that. And yet the Hamburg was still too salty; the most salty thing I ate. A wrong choice of meat? Or Simply too much salt added? It was horrible, it literally killed my appetite and I was unable to eat anymore. Very disappointed after a long awaited visit. ハンバーグはしょっばいすぎ、食欲がなくなちゃてがっかりした。 卵とサラダは美味しかった。 Hamburg steak Keisuke

Decided to write this review after today's disappointing service at keisuke tori king. I've been to most of the keisuke branch throughout the years and been loving them all ever since. Sadly, most of the service declines as the years went by, especially whenever the japanese chefs leave the restaurant. But today's service in tori king really ruins the image of the restaurant chain as a whole. I arrived at 9.20pm with my partner, and thankfully there weren't any queue with plenty of seats available in the restaurant. We were then greeted by a golden haired male with a tattooed arm whom we later presumed was incharge for the night. He proceeds to mention that the last order has past, but if we choose to still dine in, we'll have to settle the bill by 9.45pm and leave at 10pm sharp. Having craved for the ramen the whole day, we chose to still dine in regardless. We received our ramen 5mins later and it was still one of the best ramen I've ever had. Unfortunately, other customers that tried to come in shortly after us were greeted with rejection to dine with different excuses such as there is no more chicken or last order over already. There was even a customer that was guided to his table by a female staff, but was told off by him saying that they're closed. He then mentioned loudly to the female staff, "What time already, people want to go home", while the customer that was rejected was leaving his table, followed by a chuckle made by another male staff behind the kitchen counter. There were also separate occasions where he would shout loudly to his colleagues about wanting to close on time, often speaking in an outlandish manner about how closing the shop early is to his discretion. However, only at 9.35pm then did he go around asking for any last orders(there were still plenty of customers that were there before us; meaning that the mention of the last order has passed was a blatant lie). We finished our satisfying meal by 9.45pm, though we felt rushed, especially with them clearing everything while we ate. As we wait to pay for our meal, a customer paying at the counter voiced his displeasures to the presumed incharge that his 5 friends were refused entry. He too noticed and indicated that it was unusual for keisuke to close so early. The staff just laughed it off. The customer then continues to press the issue, and only then did the staff give a response, "if can give I will give but I cannot". When the customer mentions that tonkotsu king was still packed with people during closing hour on another night, the staff then loudly told his friend in the kitchen 'guess we've lost to them again'. We didn't manage to get his name as his nametag wasn't worn properly(the tag was vertical and facing downwards) I understand and have experienced the other branches especially tori king trying to close on time especially when the japanese staff is not around, but such blatant unprofessional behavior is really unacceptable especially since it puts off potential customers to the good food. The eagerness to end work is understandable but showing and speaking about it outright shows the lack of pride and dedication to your work.

Went to Clarke Quay Ramen Keisuke Lobster King outlet. Staff Wei Pin was very attentive to our needs and offered recommendations on their best dishes, and refilled our water frequently despite we have finished our ramen. Good service :)

First time trying the umi champon - the broth was thick and flavorful. Ingredients included Kani, oyster, prawn, pork and vegetables. The only grouse was that it was a little stuffy- small shop but the service was great. Staff explained how you should eat it if it's your first m visit. Fabulous food as expected. Worth a try!

The outlet that I went in Tori King is amazing! The staff there is very welcoming (especially the staff with the golden hair and ear rings) and the food there was delicious. My friends and I had a great time there! Highly recommended!

This is not my first time eating at Keisuke but I am already very disappointed with the service at parkway parade outlet. I order Tonkotsu with cheese however I was given the wrong order and order was not being double confirmed before sending to the kitchen. It is not even busy period and honestly speaking the whole shop is only me and my mum two customers. I have no issue with other outlet but just parkway parade itself.

This is my first time to visit Hollad village outlet. I think the shop crew are well trained to servie their dishes. I've enjoyed "Kamo tsukemen" and it was good tast. And surprisingly, service crew had understood "Warishita" , which must have to eat its soup when eat it. I have visited many Ramen restaurants to eat tsukemen in Singapore, but few restaurants understood what was "Warishita". "Warishita" is to add in the original soup, to eat it as a soup, because the original soup of tsukemen is too salty to eat itself. How to eat tsukemen is different from usual ramen. So, I have been able to enjoy "Kamotsukemen" due to their profesional service. NOTE: The soup of tsukemen should be added "Warishirta" soup when you eat it at the last proces after finishing the noodles. Never through all noodle in the original soup at first.
