Underwhelming. We’ve been to Mitsuya since its early days and enjoyed their omakase. This recent visit the quality and selection of fish was below par for the expectation at this price point. While the presentation is still top notch, there are better options (especially in this area) at this that are worth patronizing.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food. Sashimi was not fresh, culinary execution below expectation considering we paid $200++ for omakase. Poor choice of fish, mostly very fishy, need pickled ginger to wash it down. Not recommended for this price point

We had the Omakase at Mitsuya. Jeffrey, our chef took care of our tummies and Wei Mun provided outstanding service and entertainment.
It had some special items on the menu which you have to try without thinking too much :) The quality of the food is as good as it gets. We had exclusive uni, fish, crab, prawn and more and all fresh from Japan. The food was just outstanding.
It was not just a dinner, it was an EXPERIENCE!!
Thank you to the whole team at Mitsuya

Went for dinner and they only have omakase menu. It was awesome. I picked the $130 umi omakase.
The service was amazing. Since I was alone, the only people to chat with are the chef and waitress so they took their time to explain the dishes to me, how to eat them and pair them with the sauce, and they even teach me about their ingredients, where it comes from, how they cooked it and how they maintain their quality. Jeffrey was the sushi chef serving me and he was very patient. The supporting staff aka waitress were also very quick to react, to refill my drinks and to clean my table and clear my plate.
As I was sitting at the counter, The chef even noted what I preferred and served me slowly as I wanted to enjoy my food with pauses in between.
Overall, I loved the food, the people there, the ambience, the service and will definitely be back.
The variety is substantial and the quality is awesome too.

A very intimate ambience. Unlike the more commercialised versions of omakase restaurants. The food is awesome!

Pictures don’t lie guys! There to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, so aside the awesome fanfare, chef Harada San also made a “sushi cake”, which is greatly appreciated!
Protein is fresh and marinated where it matters. And every bite is like a heaven sent. Will be back soon. Be warned, you need about a month plus to make any reservations!
Gem indeed!

Loved the lunch set and presentation of the food! Had lunch to celebrate my wife's birthday, and she was given a nice little surprise cake made from sushi! Food was good and would love to go back again.
Staff were nice to accord us with a room during the reservation process, so that our toddler won't disturb the other diners with her cries.

Personable service, the staff were amazing. Restaurant was very busy when we visited for Omakase dinner but the service staff was on hand to explain the menu to us and even stopped to make small chat. While waiting to be seated, we stopped to chat with a couple of regulars, very friendly vibe here. Food was superb, very fresh and flavorful.

great food, innovative interpretations of traditional sushi (never a bad thing imho), exciting from start to finish. they serve very good akami nigiri sushi for all you purists out there. certainly better than some of the Michelin-starred sushi restaurants I've been to. but of course it's just an opinion
