Best dining experience. This place is next to MTR, just opposite the perumal temple. It has very clean and casual ambience nothing fancy. But once you enter, you are greeted by two ladies who always serve me food as a mother. They recommend what is best and hot for that time of the day. I usually go to places where staff treats you nicely. There are pictures of Hindu Gods and Goddesses and continues chanting of hymns is be played Food is made in pure ghee so price s are slightly higher. If you want to know what a home made indian veg. Tastes like, this is the place. Sabudana khichadi, rava and rice khichdi are my favorite If you are hungry try unlimited thali which is served as much as you want on banana leaf. I always eat and pack more food for later!! I hope they provide home delivery some day.

Super delicious food made with love and lots of heart. Service was good as the restaurant owner doesn’t treat customers like customers, but genuinely want to build relationships too. Beckons revisiting (:

This place serves delicious South Indian vegetarian delicacies prepared with care and love for homely food taste, They also specialize if you are one who does not consume onion and/or garlic. A must try when you are in Little India, Singapore. Located opposite to Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple.

Only once I had lunch with family about 3 years ago, before Covid-19 as there was a big queue at MTR. We liked the food being vegetarians, I tried many times later but it was closed! Is it running or closed permanently?

Super homely taste, mild and natural flavors rather than the typical oily and spicy overpowering taste you find in restaurants. Visit here only if you miss home style Tam Bram veg food. If you expect the typical restaurant fair you will be disappointed

Tasty Breakfast we had and it's different from all restaurant.. This restaurant had a menu and we ordered from it.. Food was neatly and deliciously made.. Very nice food.. But when it comes for payment was the difference between any other restaurants.. Here they didn't give us a bill, said deposit or donate whatever you feel to that pot in the reception.. Felt so much gratitude.. They gave very nice food for the body and even for the Soul.. Thanks for running this so beautiful.. Even the staff were so happy cleaning the table, greeting the customers.. GOD Blessings for this Restaurant in Singapore

Oh my! The moment when I discovered a gem place I know it! About 3 years back, someone introduced me to this place for lunch. When I stepped in, found it was a nice cosy vegetarian restaurant. I ordered a briyani mixed set and I love it immediately! I kept coming back to try more varieties on the menu. I am very adventurous with food for sure. They serve breakfast and lunch. Have a break before they serve dinner. I never knew what Pongal is until I tasted their yummilicuous Pongal! Oh I love the taste of ghee in it which they have a nice and fine balance. They serve the same food throughout the day. Rest assure, they are all home made and handmade fresh, from their chutney to their sambar. Ooh, did I mention that i love their Masala tea too?! So yummy! I was there this evening and I had my fav, Tiffin combo set that comes with the tea too! This is one place that I can have Idly even in the evening! :) I must say, this is a family owned restaurant. The family members takes turn to serve. The service may be slow at times when it's crowded. They are short handed at times too. Do take note of their opening timings. I know, to each their own taste... As for me, I am always satisfied when I walk out of the restaurant. I will add more pictures as I go along. Enjoy! Bon Appetite!

It’s maybe after decades I chanced to sit in an 1980s-90s wedding meal format .. those rows of longish tables, water sprinkled on it, white paper rolled on it, then natural leaf plates laid out (not paper look alike) and offcourse eat with your hands! Sri Lukshmi Naarasimhan is a normal restaurant other days, but once a month converts to a special meal - mix of Tamil brahmin & Kerala brahmin vegetarian dishes - where you eat as much you want and pay as much as you please. They wudve put >16 items on and around my plate and so honestly I lost track which tasted good and which tasted excellent. Overall it was a great experience with a variety of items each cooked light. The lasting impression aside the arrangement was the warmth with which the staff were serving and taking care. Asking to ‘take more’, ‘put more on Sir’s plate’ & ‘what will happen with one more spoon of Pitlai, Sir’ .. typical Indian-ness. Insisting that pure ghee is good for health than western marketed rumours we tend to believe etc. The other day I was saying how service level has greater impact on your culinary experience. It’s indeed the biggest deciding factor. I will visit this place again, get my family along and come out licking fingers. Recommended.
