Went to Brasero with one of my friends and the experience was amazing. Food was 10/10, the atmosphere was amazing and the service was divine. Staff were so kind and helpful and would definitely DEFINITELY come back!! everyone HAS to come here to try out their $30 steak! it's a value for money without scrimping out on quality

Great steaks at a really affordable price ($23.90 for 200g) with free flow lettuce and fries! The fries were unassuming but fantastic. A thoroughly enjoyable meal!

This French steak and fries restaurant has been around for years but I visited it for the first time. Unassuming exterior but serious with customer service, food and keeping it affordable. Kudos to the boss, who was at the restaurant serious at work and giving advice to staff about customer service. They were celebrating 7th anniversary with an incredible price for set meal. For about $40 you get a huge portion of heavenly garlic bread (one of the best I have had), steak (which I upgraded with a top up), free flow of fries and salad, ice cream, waffle, brownie and an espresso coffee! Set meal for two includes a fondue (ladies’ fav) as well. Will return with my lady soon!

Great steak for an affordable price. The ambiance was simple with good service to compliment. The steaks were mouth watering and the fries were amazing.

Love the cheese fondue! I'll definitely come back for it anytime ❤️ we ordered the set meal that came with 2 mains & unlimited sides of salad and fries! Inclusive of a lava cake as dessert as well! Love it!

A decent steak for the price it is offered. Ordered the 300gm piece of ribeye cooked medium rare and it was spot on. The meat also includes a free flow of fries and lettuce. The fries although really soggy were surprisingly tasty. Service was pretty good and quick. The lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream was delicious.

We were really glad to chance upon this gem on Joo Chiat road! We loved the cheese that came along with the 4 pax set and each of us could choose our individual mains that we would like to go along with the appetizers. The wine of the month tasted amazing and was at a good price point as well. Basically, the food here was really value for money and we enjoyed their free flow of fries and salad that came along with the mains. Fries were definitely not your frozen fries, they were made from real potatoes with skin on them and served pipping hot. Desserts were pretty decent as well, I personally liked the Nutella waffle a lot. I would however, hope that they can include a bigger portion of dessert for sharing in their set for 4 pax. All in all, a very nice cosy place with great service from a cute french manager. Would definitely revisit !

Awesome place to hang with your friends or family! Fries was delicious and free flow! Garlic bread with cheese was fantastic. The steak cost $30 for 400g of ribeye, where else can you get such quality and quantity at?! The staff were all very friendly and helpful as well! Definitely recommended!

So I've been to this restaurant on the 5th of May. I have to admit, this steak place is really good, service was absolutely top notch. Only downside of this place is that the fries are sometimes too salty. But at least they were free flow. The steak was absolute deli. I ordered mine at 300g cooked in medium rare. It was really tender and spongy, the way I liked it. The free flows were Garden Salads and as promoted in the video sometime ago, the home-made fries. The Garden Salad was refreshing. With the spread of salad vinegar on the salad, fresh lettuce and tomatoes, the salad really goes well with the steak. For the fries, as mentioned on top, was quite salty. I did not have the chance to ask the servers if we are able to get the fries with no salt at all. But other than that, an instant 5 stars from me. Definitely will dine here next time!

Based on the reviews, I decided to have my birthday dinner here. Unfortunately, the steaks my family had were really tough. I wasn't expecting fantastic steaks based on the prices but I thought I would get a decent 'Aston''-grade steak. But, Astons actually wins hands down! The service is good but the steaks weren't. We had the 'steak frites' which admittedly weren't the top end of cuts but I really wasn't expecting this tough and slightly tasteless steak. My kids had the skewers which was more tender but tasteless. The Fondu de Camembert wasn't too bad but there was no prep required apart from heating it up. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommend this place. The only reason it didn't earn a single star is the service and the appetizer.

Very good place, tender meat and great service (without mentioning the succulent fries and the “triple karmeliet” beer available) It’s worth a visit (or 2, or 3...or more) Recommended!

Very disappointed with this place. Firstly is it French or as the name suggests and i believe it used to be, Brazilian? My camembert was cold and needed sending back. Received warmish but didn't want to return again. The fact that it is served with sliced white toast is beyond me. It also was saltier than the dead sea. I paid more to upgrade to a 400g steak... I received 2 separate 200g stakes that were bland, chewy and generally tasteless. The fries were crap... No other word for it. The highlight was my ice cream desert which i doubt was made by them. Even the pints were from cans. Think cafeteria ambiance and quality.

I have to give it a 5 stars although at peak hour during dinner time they are really short of staff (just 2 on the floor, including the owner!), they will still check with the table whether hows our experience and how we find the food. Best is that they take dinner reservation!
