Great spot for late night drinks and snacks. Walked out all satisfied with the food and price!
Tried onion bomb, bulgogi fries and soy wings. ALL GOOD!

Tried korean food. Sweet chicken is good but pieces are too big. Two seater table is not spacious enough for a couple. Ambience is ok. Service is good.

Been to Chicken Up multiple times over the years, feels almost criminal to be writing a review for the first time, and only having one picture for it at that xD
That being said, Chicken Up serves fantastic Korean food loved by me and my friends alike. So many good things to talk about, but our top 3 choices are: Ganjang Chicken, Beef Bulgogi Fries & Watermelon Soju.
Do not be fooled by the unassuming appearance of the Ganjang Chicken. I judged it's appearance prematurely when I had it for the first time, but when I sank my teeth into the juicy piece of chicken it oozed out flavours that were sooooo great! Beef bulgogi fries is also the ultimate must-try at Chicken Up. Trust me, you will never go wrong with these two! :)

One of favourite place still for chicken. Taste still the same after so many years. Service was great and food was definitely worth going back for.

I ordered the chicken wings with the spicy Yangnyum sauce. I thought that the sauce was too sweet and not spicy at all. I also ordered the tuna jiggae which was amazing!

It’s been awhile since I’ve visited and sad to say I won’t be coming back. Food was mediocre and given the location, you can probably find other (better) alternatives. Although service is pretty commendable!

Headed to Chicken Up at Tanjong Pagar craving for fried chicken in early May 2021. With the glowing reviews online, I had assumed I was in for a night, and I was not wrong except it was for all the wrong reasons.
The only good things were the Yangpa Bomb and the Fried Chicken Gizzard. Although I can handle spicy, I guess the Mala craze, which I am no fan of, around town had resulted in the spicy level for these 2 dishes being a tad heavy handed.
The rest of the meal was just one bad news after another. The Spam Rice Ball tasted as if it had been left out on the counter for the entire day and tasted slightly sour/off. The two types of fried chicken ordered, Crispy Up and Yangnyum Up, tasted freezer burned, salty and the bones left after consumption were black instead of the usual off white, making me think if the chicken used were already expired. The worst of the night was the Fried Lotus Root where the request was made to the staff not to put the cheese powder but it was still served with the cheese powder coated over everything. Finally, wanting to clean the negative taste of the meal from the mouth was naught as the Bingsu machine was faulty as well.
This was definitely an exceedingly negative experience and thankfully there was the nearby Roji Monster Ice Cream to wash the bad taste of the meal out of the mouth. Even the use of the Chope discount voucher at Chicken Up with its 30% discount did not help to make the meal any more palatable.

First time at Chicken Up in Tanjong Pagar, absolutely awesome!! Great food, great concept cocktails, and really great service. I asked about non-dairy items on the menu, and the waiter was super attentive and checked my order with the kitchen to confirm no dairy. Great place, would definitely recommend!

A regular customer at Chicken Up Centrepoint with my family. We come here every months because we really love the food here.
It may seem a little bit pricecy to the average Singaporeans like us but honestly the portions are big and it really is worth it. I really love their chicken and the fries here.
The service here is great at Centrepoimt especially since we are regulars and they know us well.
Really recommend it to those who are thinking of giving it a shot. Its really good.

The food was awesome, service was fast and efficient. Price wise was affordable. Recommend you to come in 4-5 pax of a group because the food portion was quite huge!!!!

I once visited the one in Tanjong Pagar and it has got to be the best restaurant I have ever been, so far. Awesome food and great customer service.
Especially, their soju rita was tasty for sure, and floor staff were willing to help anything upon request.

First time going to chicken up to attend their cooking class. We are fortunate to have won the free cooking class held this afternoon at centre point. My partner and I really enjoyed yourselves with Min, our teacher, and some helper to guide us in cooking 2 types of delicious Korea traditional and gochuzang Tteokpoki :)
Also, We each were given 5 pieces of $5 voucher to be use at chicken up. We managed to cook the 2nd round using rest of the ingredient left over from the class. containers were given for us to pack the food home.
Once again, thank you chicken up for having such wonderful diy cooking class and having us this afternoon.
Hope to go for more classes in future.

The restaurant's casual vibe is best for catching up and fun times with friends!

I think good simple place for quick juicy chicken and drinks.
But shame some locals are loud after 2 drinks.

Came primarily for the chicken wings and I was nof disappointed. Service was good. The server Mark really made sure things were in order. Food was great. Bug servings. Good value for money. The food just took some time to arrive (I saw another table who came after me get their food earlier than me) but other than that, it's a great chicken restaurant.

The bingsoo is the best! The milk they use is specially chosen and imported from Korea, giving it a soft creamy taste. I really love it! Yangpa Bomb, Seafood Pancake, and their Spicy Wings are must-orders

The staff here was very nice! I ate the soya fried chicken and it was very yummy! The chicken was crispy and the sauce was flavourful!!! :)

Was at tanjong pagar branch at 7pm and waited till 7.30pm to get a table but that's fine.
After which they took our orders and made us wait for another 1hour to tell us that the food can only be served in 50mins. This is insane. No communications regarding their kitchen renovation and no expectations management.
This is absolutely unacceptable and the service was just horrible.

My first visit to Chicken Up Tanjong Pagar! (To celebrate my gf's birthday) Service was friendly & attentive! Staff was very obliging when we asked them for recommendation of food. Food taste wise was good & yummilicious! Staff also came out singing happy birthday song (with the mini cake we bought) for my gf, which was a great surprise too. Overall, atmosphere was casual & happy. I would definitely visit it again! 😊
