Wonderful dining experience, thanks to Chef Yoshi and team. I have been here twice already for their Omakase to celebrate special occasions and it was a delightful experience each and every time. The flavours of each dish is very thoughtful and there’s always that one an extra memorable dish with a special twist. A cozy dining environment in a warm wood interior with just 10 seatings, always a full house and some are definitely long term loyal customers.

Private and cozy ambience. Quality dishes but yet not leave an impression. Perhaps the biggest disappointment is to see the dishes prepared in batches literally in front of you. This is not omakase.

Always a pleasure to dine here. Chef Yoshiyuki's perfect balance of flavours is something which we have not found elsewhere. There are many other restaurants which serve similar fare but none come close to achieving the same level of flavor synthesis from the thesis and antithesis of the primary ingredients. Everything comes together phenomenally here. (Dis)claimer: we've been coming here (on special occasions only due to the not inexpensive menu) since 2013 so we have sort of gotten to know the Chef. I will insist however that this does not cloud my opinion of the food. (I also know some chefs very well who just can't really cook.....)

Came here with wife for our anniversary. Went for the Omakase and the whole experience was very good. The chef was friendly and tried his best to introduce the dishes and crack jokes. The staff would promptly clear our empty plates and refill our tea. I didn’t give five stars because I thought the presentation could be more interesting. Would come again to try the other menus.

Had tried the regular dons in the past and really liked them so thought of trying the more premium stuff today. Ordered the special chirashi + uni ikura negitoro hotate don. The quality of the sashimi was above average but not spectacular. Was left a little disappointed that the quantity of uni given was clearly much lesser than advertised. Overall, still a decent meal but I would not return for the premium set as there are better alternatives at the same price point out there. The regular sets are pretty decent and offers way more value for sure.

Excellent experience. Feels very private and exclusive. Great modern design mixed with traditional japanese crafts. Portions are filling, ingredients fresh. The sous chef Brandon was friendly and informative. The flight of sake was delicious although glass servings could have been slightly bigger. The Tuna and Wagyu melts in your mouth as expected. Advice : only go for the omakasa if you are really hungry. Otherwise go for the sets. There is a cozy lounge bar next door if you want to start with some drinks.

Set menu offers good selection of sashimi, beef and small dishes. Good quality ingredients and nice presentation. However compared to the best ones in town this places lacks attention to the details, given the price they charge the value proposition is poor.

Had an absolutely lovely experience dining here for my birthday. Chef Yoshiyuki was curious to find out what occasion it was that brought my hubby and I to dine here and when I mentioned it was my birthday, little did I know he informed the staff about it and I got myself a little birthday surprise dessert from them! Thank you Chef Yoshiyuki and the staff for this surprise. It was definitely a great pleasure dining here and I hope we will be back again some day. :)

Quiet and lovey location for an Omakase or Kaiseki meal. Excellence course after course. If you made a reservation and can't make it, please, call to cancel so the restaurant has another chance to fill the limited seating.

It's our first proper omakase dining experience and we are blown away by it. The food was exquisite, with much thought gone into the conceptualisation and presentation.
