Ordered their Pigwich sandwich and their popular American Buttermilk fried chicken. Portions were big and taste good. But didn't like their fries, too soft and oily.
They have a weekday 2course lunch special with coffee or tea at $22.50, which I think is very reasonable.
Service was very good. Would definitely recommend this place.

I don't usually eat beef, but decided to just give it a try here. The steak was tender and tasty, the salt given just elevated the taste. The beef stew was also excellent with the rich gravy, sweet and hearty. I had better crab cakes though, although theirs were full of crab meat. The milk shake was also good, rich, smooth and thick.

We came for brunch, the restaurant was not crowded. They have a nice name tag for our reservation. Nice little restaurant, no smell of cooking oil in the restaurant. We ordered Croque Madam, Nutella French toast, fish and chips and hangover burger. I would give 5 stars to both French toast and croque Madame. 2 stars for fish and chips and burger. The Chips were soft and soggy. Fish was not tasty. Burger was average, turn out medium rare while we ordered medium. Plain bun was used. Not much sauce on burger. Restaurant was noisy due to the design (cement and wall)

Nice little neighbourhood eatery. You can tell the familiarity of the customers given their casual dress code! Was quite crowded when I dropped by for dinner over the w/e so putting in an advanced booking is probably a good idea. Foodwise...a tad of a mixed bag really although prices are quite friendly. The wagyu beef rump was a bit tough but decently grilled. Might be better if they can offer a standard ribeye instead of the wagyu rump. Didn't think much of the southern fried chicken. Not that flavourful. Reckon its just such a convenient place that diners will still flock to it. For me personally, I think its OK but not a die hard fan.

What to get: Mac n cheese was good. Cheesy, creamy and velvety. 'Krusty krab' Benedict was also another yummy dish. Slightly spicy yet sweet crab patties with hollandaise sauce was the highlight of it.
What to skip: Truffle fries were bad. Dont know if it just me but the fries were soggy and the taste of truffle was close to nothing. They should rename it to garlic parmesan fries as garlic was the flavour that I could taste.

Had the Mac n Cheese that I read so much about, I ordered the one with Truffle oil n wild mushrooms..well! can't even taste the truffle and the wild mushrooms was brown enoki. Anyway it's not as creamy but much more cheesy which was yummy. The bread crumbs on it was crispy and delicious that I felt it would be better if there's more!.. on the whole I enjoyed it and finished it even.

This is a small restaurant next to Sixth Avenue. Limited parking in front of the restaurant so best to park at Guthrie House. There is a wide range of food such as crab cakes, risotto balls, chicken drumlets, pork ribs, fried chicken and burgers. There are also good selection of craft beers. Good service and cosy atmosphere.

Everything here was fantastic, some of the service we received was a bit sub par but will definitely be coming back for the burgers. The hero was definitely the truffle and shrooms burger and the sweet potato fries which we ordered separately.
