Review Moosehead Kitchen-bar - Singapore

The menu is quite small and many of the dishes are unavailable. Food is better than expected though !! Love the grilled cauliflowers and the barramundi. Probably only the feta in the Greek salad could be of better quality and better beverage/ drinks.. however overall still great.

Mannn the food is great here. Quite a few things were unfortunately not available but it didn’t really take away from the experience. The bacon wrapped dates and the barramundi was excellent. If you’re sat outside if can be tricky to get the staff’s attention and food service can take its time. So, not the spot for you if you’re starving - but otherwise quite worth it (especially if you’re on a Burpple 1 for 1). Would be back for the famous iberico pork.

Had lunch here with the family … while the service is good, the food is of mixed quality. We had Pulled pork burger - pretty good, not the best but good Grilled cauliflower - my fav, well grilled & love the seasonings Barramundi - good flavour with an interesting Asian twist … but the portion is rather small Pork ragu pasta - the handmade pasta is good but the pork ragu sauce tasted ‘watered down’ Another down side is the price - rather pricey for the portion & quality. Also surprised how small this place is … highly recommended to make reservation in advance.

Rest was quiet on a sat night, Came here for my partners birthday and used burpples 1 for 1, rather dissappointing. -they have changed their menu which is not reflected on their burpple page as of current. Went there with the intention to try out their iberico pork and spicy pig ears but were both off the menu… -Ordered 200g NZ striploin which costs $46 on the menu. Of the 6-7 slices literally 3 of them were fully fats and inedible ridiculous for the price considering.. if it were not for a 1 for 1 please do not consider ordering.. Also i requested if the service crew could kindly help me write a happy birthday on the plate or a candle IF i were to order a dessert. Subsequently decided to have desserts elsewhere when the team got us a birthday cake with a candle before we were going to leave. Initially thought it was a surprise however was more surprised to find out that i was charged for the cake upon receiving the bill. All in all could've been a miscommunication. Cant say i had a good time here.

Very good burger. Was happy during order taking I was asked how well I want my burger to be done. Juicy and tender burger, lightly seasoned, with generous serving of fries. Had this for take out, burger tastes very good even after >40 minutes post collection, well packed in a bowl-type container. Shape of burger maintained, no condensation on buns. Edit: I have bought the burger from moose head 3-4 times since the first post :)

Tried the Moosehead cheeseburger and BBQ pull pork burger. Both were equally good, slightly salty though. Fries were served warm and crispy.

Can only rate this place properly as a watering hole (bar) rather than eatery as haven’t eaten here properly. And on that front no complaints, centrally located and ideal for a stop off before dinner in the surrounding area. What food we did sample, was pretty good, had the kofte, sauce was a good proportion to the meat and executed well. Would say that the menu could do with more “snack” or small plate variety. Atmosphere 4/5 Sat night very busy and bustling, good vibe to it and even seated outside, does good job at disguising feel you’re next to a main road. Value 4/5 (if you get an outdoor seat) Happy hour is good value, but looks like they’ve recently changed this to “outdoor seating only” and considering only 2 tables out there it’s a bit tough to gauge if you’re going to benefit from that if you’re planning to just walk in for drinks. Having said that however understand why they do this given that they were full with diners at the time we were there (around 7pm on sat) Service 4/5 Quick, friendly.

First time been here. Nothing leads to disappointment, in fact, we never expected the food taste was beyond our expectation, especially it looks like a bar to us. Like Pork Jowl the most - it’s super tender and made me think of having Kobe Beef. In terms of service, staffs are polite and actively check on their customers on e.g. if they need to top up the water for them. Chefs are serious on the food presentation - saw they thrown away the lava cake as the chocolate filling spillover the plate. In sum, we will definitely come back here again and try out their remaining items. Am hoping them to serve proper meal though (Pork Jowl with rice etc.), not sure it’s because of the night time when they only serve sides and drinks?
