With its own unique taste, Yap Kee Wanton Noodles stands out from its competitors and leaves a lasting impression in its patrons. The type of noodles for the wanton noodles was selected for its specific taste. The wantons are made with great care and flavor. Often do I see wanton mee stalls simply outsource the Char Siew in their dishes, Yap Kee makes their own :D
Besides the good food, the experience of having a meal there is simply pleasant. The uncle selling the noodles is friendly and has a great sense of humor. Opposite the hawker center exists a HDB multi-storey carpark that hasdoubled its capacity at the time of this post, so finding parking is never an issue, even on weekends or public holidays. The hawker center is easily accessible by public transport as well.
To Note : you can order mee pok noodles for Wanton mee. It is especially effective at making the dish a lot more spicy if you like spicy food. Otherwise, you may want to order the plain Wanton mee dish to experience the rich original flavor of the noodles.
The only wonton noodle store that i would highly recommend
the noodles texture and taste are really something that i've never tasted before as most wonton noodles would really make you have this i do not want to eat it anymore kind of feeling but this stall doesn't and i ended up ordering another bowl as it was too good not have another bowl
