The food is good and the sashimi is really fresh, while the service is more on the slow side. I ordered the Salmon Tower Don, California Maki and Beef Sukiyaki Nabe. The Salmon tower Don is really fresh and tasty, but its portion at $20 won't woah you. Beef Sukiyaki Nabe is typical of what you will expect but the Maki is something I will order again. Normally, I frequent Genki sushi in bugis+ and this time I wanted something nicer than usual. In comparison to Genki, the food here is better (of course it is more expensive as well), has cosy ambient and at a justifiable price-point.
Otaru curry rice ($17.8 ++)
We got a 1 for 1 promotion during their 1 year anniv so it's worth it! Otaru curry rice have 3 kind of meats, chicken katsu, karaage, and ebifurai (fried shrimp) so we could try all the meat served in their curry. The karaage is not as crispy maybe because it's dipped in curry sauce but the meat is sooo soft. The ebifurai is also very good! Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The chicken katsu is the worst, it's crispy and the meat is sooooo hard. I don't know what kind of chicken or how old the meat is but I don't recommend it.

First visit to the restaurant and we were greeted by a friendly service crew named Maggie. She was attentive and full of smiles. We ordered Philadelphia Sushi Roll and an Unagi Don, as recommended. The food was served promptly and was sizzling hot too. Definitely a good recommendation by the service crew and surely, we will be back again. Thumbs up! Comparable standard to sushi tei.
