Ichi Tei is a small shop in Sunshine Plaza managed by an equally small team of maybe 2. But don’t be fooled by its small size. We had Saba with Udon Set ($11.50), Chicken Curry ($12), Hokkaido Scallop & Salmon Mentaiko ($16.50), Salmon Sashimi ($3) and Shiro Maguro ($3). For the Chicken Curry, the chicken has crispy skin and juicy meat. The curry was a bit salty. Overall, good but not outstanding. The Saba/Udon and Hokkaido Scallop & Salmon Mentaiko were exceptionally good for the price, especially the Saba. The Saba was huge and cooked to the right level. The best was the fresh Salmon Sashimi and Shiro Maguro. Overall, tasty food at affordable prices.
Excellent food!! You can really taste the love and effort the couple put in to make every dish. The prawns, fish and scallops were imported from japan, no wonder the ones we had were so sweet and fresh! Definitely recommend the hokkaido scallop salmon mentaiko aburi don. The lady boss even offered to help torch the prawn if we prefered it cooked instead of sashimi style. Would definitely come back again!
Wow. Great food! The dons were good. Had the salmon and scallop aburi don set. Also had the unagi set. All awesome. Seafood was fresh, rice was well cooked. Super cheap for the price. Probably worth 50-60 bucks at least. It was just $35 for 2 sets with additional 2 drinks!
