Excellent food and service. Brought the family there to celebrate one of our children's birthday. The owner was very friendly and hospitable. Towards the end of the dinner, he played along with me to surprise my daughter with a birthday cake which I bought from the bakery next door. We sang the happy birthday song together. It was a very delightful and unforgettable evening. For the food, we went for the Army Stew and seafood pancake. Lovely.
Must try out the military soup! Nice ambience.

Place is small and cozy, very short handed on the day of my visit (1 staff serving + cleaning + cashier), but otherwise a very pleasant experience. Would have loved the gyoza to be fried till crispy on the outside, but this may have been the authentic style as I have read elsewhere online. Reasonably priced, will come back again when time and season permits.
This was the only Korean restaurant which I had not tried on the top level of beauty world. The place was located at the corner. Ordered the silken tofu spicy soup, seafood pancake and spicy cold noodle. The soup was really good and toufu was soft. It was easily one of the best that I have rated. Next, seafood pancake serving size was above average. The style was abit different to other two, it was thicker, inside fluffy and the top / bottom were crispy. Must eat it hot, not recommended for take away because the fluffy soft inner layer will soften the crispy outer layers. Spicy cold noodle was average.
went to joomak to relive the experience years ago. the fact that this restaurant is here open after so many years speaks for itself. especially now there are 2 korean restaurants just next door. we ordered bbq and grape soju. bbq set comes with rice which we fried on the pan with the meat. super delicious!!! also comes with kimchee stew to wash down all the meat. overall I can say that the experience is still good!
Food was excellent. The last time I ate here was almost a decade ago. Still as good as I remembered 😆
Japachae's really good with the perfect noodles and consistency. Stew is earthy and a great match with a rainy day.
Love the Military Stew but main star was the Jok Bal.....Awesomely Yummilicious.
Decent Korean food for the price. The seafood pancake is really good- it is crispy on the outside and warm, soft and filled with ingredients on the inside. Splendidly done and tastes super good with their sauce. Tho the fried chicken is just plain disappointing.. Dry and tough and not worth the price paid.
