Otoko Ramen knows their chashu! No smell and doesn't feel fatty, just fragrant chashu. Broth and noodles are good too without too much fat or that strong porky smell. Another favourite is their chashu-don with the smoky chashu topping. Delish! Staff are also helpful and friendly. If you're in the area this place is recommended!
The best ramen I ever had in Singapore so far.
Noodles, topping and soup are all nice and delicious.
The radish kimchi side dish which is served for free goes super well with ramen!
The taste was nice.
My best Japanese ramen restaurant in Singapore.
Otoko Mazesoba has not so strong truffle scent, but not too heavy in the end. The taste is recommendable for those who like creamy taste, which I like. Maybe it comes from a soft boiled egg.
My other half had was also satisfied with their limited dish called Tokusei Otokoya Ramen, claiming this would be regular.
Service was also good, serving more cold water.
The price was reasonable comparing other famous Japanese ramen restaurants.
We’re sure will visit again seeking a chance to come around this area.
Got their signature mazesoba that was vaguely truffle-flavoured without being overwhelming. It was accompanied by a broth that was a light but flavourful companion to the noodles.
While the noodles were definitely delicious (unlike my horribly pretentious writing), it wasn’t really that memorable. Rather, it’s a nice option if you happen to find yourself in the area and feel a need for noodles.
However, the deep fried oysters were beyond incredible. I would definitely go back for them and accompany those with an ice cold beer or two.
A little hole in the wall restaurant. What a great find! The Mazesoba was simply delicious! They come in 2 sizes M and L. The spicy Mazesoba was really good. The sides were also done really well. Both the gyōza and the tonkatsu were very nice. We really enjoyed the boiled eggs that they have on each table for customers to consume while waiting for or with their food. Will definitely visit again!
I was very impressed with the taste of Mazesoba here. The taste was a bit salty, if you like salty taste, that would be great. The soba also contains Truffle flavour. The restaurant served free refillable drinking water. M-size noodle is enough for an adult women/men.
Mazesoba is slowly becoming popular in Singapore. Try this one. Comes with free hard boiled eggs at your table. Not too bad if you like your noodles dry. Remember to give the noodles and the accompanying onsen egg and other condiments a good mix before you tuck in. Bon appétit!
Tried for a quick dinner - had the salmon donburi ($11.9) and karaage don ($11.9). They were both very nice - the Karaage especially was light and not oily - good value and quick service! I’ll definitely return to try the ramen.
Hidden gem! I lovee the otoko ramen one! The texture, the taste, even the soup is also tasty! They also give free flow eggs! The noodles itself is already taste good. The price isnt pricey either. Will come back for sure!
ordered spicy ramen with seaweed. soup is tasty and not thick and noodle is the type i like - thin. the soup came really hot which i really like. good and faster service. i will visit again.
