Classic nasi lemak with a choice of fish or chicken, with anchovies and peanuts and fried egg, with or without otak. Best part is the sambal belacan which is tasty and spicy, but not burning hot, and goes well with the rice and any of the sides. Great way to end a morning walk at the Singapore Botanic Gardens or Kheam Hock Park. The service is at a leisurely pace and the food runs out, so don't go too late.
Ordered the $6 Adam Special. The beef rendang was really good. Overall a satisfying packet of nasi Lemak. The rice portion is small but works for me. However, the lady boss is very slow and this results in a long long Q and wait. Sometimes not worth the wait if u ask me.
Bought the Chicken Wing set @$4.50. Chicken Wing was succulent but the basmati coconut rice was not as fragrant and tasty as before in my opinion. Amount of rice is pretty small. Overall the food was not too bad.
