The Damage (no drinks): S$25-40 for two
Zichar eatery in Geylang popularly known for their Beef Horfun. Ambience is no frills and boisterous. We recommend the Beef Horfun and the Salt Pepper Chicken Wings

Beef Kway Teow very delicious and good wok hei. Definitely coming back for supper, this place open untill 2.30am. The hot plate tofu is delicious as well but the beef kway teow is the winner here. Price average per person $16.
Still one of the best wok hey tasting beef hor fun in Singapore, a quick tip is to ask then to add more egg into the hor fun sauce, ups the taste profile a little.
Best if visiting in a larger group so youâll be able to try the rest of the dishes, the sweet & sour pork was good, and so was the omelette egg!
For veggie, Kai lan is fantastic with a garlic taste, and the 3 egg spinach dish was heavy on the salted egg taste too, so if thatâs what you like, go for it.
The prawn paste chicken was pretty alright, nothing to write home about.
For some reason it isnât as packed as before already, but still a place to try nevertheless in the Geylang suite of food places.
Arrived at 6pm, it is kind of open hawker restaurant, place was empty. Only came for the beef kway teow, ordered for $14 it is just right portion for 2 pax. Beef kway teow is served with a lot of meat, it was very good! I do recommend it!
Dish Portion looks big but itâs very suitable for 1 pax. Beef hor fun ($8/pax) was flavourful - tender beef slices but could have more wok hei which people rave about. Crispy seafood noodle ($7/pax) was really good - love crispy noodles but note that choosing crispy noodles is extra $1. Yam ring ($18) was decent too, not too oily but nicely crisped.
Will return for late night supper and perhaps try the beef with crispy noodles!
Ordered take away but itâs still as good as before. Just getting more and more pricey. Still my go to beef kway teow stall after all these years.
As usual the beef hor fun is awesome! Wok hei aplenty and delicious. Still highly recommended! Sambal kang gong is not too spicy and tasted good. The prawn paste chicken is a little over cooked making the meat tough and little hard.
