Lor 9 Beef Kway Teow - Singapore - Photo album

Still one of the best wok hey tasting beef hor fun in Singapore, a quick tip is to ask then to add more egg into the hor fun sauce, ups the taste profile a little. Best if visiting in a larger group so you’ll be able to try the rest of the dishes, the sweet & sour pork was good, and so was the omele
This Beef Kway Teow was my favourite restaurant for years. However, the food quality is deteriorated over time. From bad to worse then worst. Of course the crowds is getting lesser... And very easy to get table. The Singapore fried bee hoon is disaster, clams are not fresh. In general, the food qua
Arrived at 6pm, it is kind of open hawker restaurant, place was empty. Only came for the beef kway teow, ordered for $14 it is just right portion for 2 pax. Beef kway teow is served with a lot of meat, it was very good! I do recommend it!
Dish Portion looks big but it’s very suitable for 1 pax. Beef hor fun ($8/pax) was flavourful - tender beef slices but could have more wok hei which people rave about. Crispy seafood noodle ($7/pax) was really good - love crispy noodles but note that choosing crispy noodles is extra $1. Yam ring ($1
Bought my kids to try out the famous Geylang Lor 9 Beef Kway Teow. Came a shock to my girl as the portion for the Beef Kway Teow is so little for $14 for 2. I personally find it too pricey, no wokhei taste. The meat is too soft and I don't like. Ordered the mee goreng to try and the portion is at $
A very normal plate of beef kway teow, you can get the same standard at any other tze char restaurant. No need to specially make your way down here to try. We had the $14 portion and thought the beef portion was quite generous. There was a hair in the sauce though.. Prawn paste chicken $12 was also
Ordered take away but it’s still as good as before. Just getting more and more pricey. Still my go to beef kway teow stall after all these years.
As usual the beef hor fun is awesome! Wok hei aplenty and delicious. Still highly recommended! Sambal kang gong is not too spicy and tasted good. The prawn paste chicken is a little over cooked making the meat tough and little hard.
