Worth it for price point. Need to be selective on dishes.
Recommend: ngoh Huang, crackers, pig stomach soup (gingery), sambal brinjal, nonya chap chye, curry chicken, ayam pamggang, beef rendang, nonya kueh
Really so happy to eat here. For the price of their buffet, one can't really complain about the limited options-they are mostly well-executed. Fruit Rojak was a small, sensible portion of apple, turnip, pineapple and a mildly spicy prawn paste. Babi Pongteh was generous, the meat was soft with braised mushrooms but a pity it was a little on the salty side. Satay Babi was amazingly tender and served in a rich, fragrant peanut sauce. Very nice! I also enjoyed all the vegetable options. Ikan goreng was fried but not dry and I skipped the other seafood options. Pulut Hitam was warm, fresh and came with a generous topping of creamy coconut milk.
Service was great, with charming uncles who were attentive and friendly. They really make you feel at home. Overall, the place is very chilled and laidback on a weekday afternoon. My only issue was that the dishes can be on the salty side. Hope the chefs can adjust their recipes and go easy on the salt.
Delicious buffet, good food and excellent service 😍
