The original penyetan from eastern Java. The taste is good, the chicken, the kremes, the sambal … you know it’s the real one if you’re Indonesian. This is good! Highly recommended!
Ayam Penyet Ria is tucked away in a corner in Lucky Plaza. Would recommend to pay it a visit for authentic Indonesian food. Had the ayam bakar ($8.70) which came with a grilled chicken thigh, tempeh, tofu, and rice. For someone who eats chilli, their chilli was spicier than usual but it packed a good punch nonetheless. You can top up $1 for yellow rice instead of white rice.
Found them tucked away at a corner. I had the Ayam Penyet + Nasi. While the chicken skin is crispy, the meat is a bit dry. It's still a good meal though. Portion is decent. But there is no keropok given. U have to order it as a side. 😔
Had ordered for Hari Raya event at workplace and was very pleased with the food (food was fresh and chicken was crispy!), prompt delivery and smooth process overall 🙂
