Ayam Penyet Ria - Singapore - Photo album

Honestly quite disappointed with the dishes Chicken was small and not much meat, texture of the chicken was not rlly consistent Tahu telor gravy was diluted(?) ahah defo tasted better ones before the tofu was not consistent as well, some were tough Salted egg enoki was the biggest disappointment.
If you want sour fried tofu~ I took one bite and totally just ruin my appetite, despite the chicken smelling really good... I ordered takeaway 3 times ... All 3 times its breast meat and it's really dry .. cannot la... I give up...
Very sad to see this place is losing it glorious shine. From service to food is below average. Waited about 10 mins yet the food was served wrongly. Meat was indeed quite dry as mentioned by other reviewers. Famous for it chilli also losing it heat. Unfortunately.
The original penyetan from eastern Java. The taste is good, the chicken, the kremes, the sambal … you know it’s the real one if you’re Indonesian. This is good! Highly recommended!
Ayam Penyet Ria is tucked away in a corner in Lucky Plaza. Would recommend to pay it a visit for authentic Indonesian food. Had the ayam bakar ($8.70) which came with a grilled chicken thigh, tempeh, tofu, and rice. For someone who eats chilli, their chilli was spicier than usual but it packed a go
Found them tucked away at a corner. I had the Ayam Penyet + Nasi. While the chicken skin is crispy, the meat is a bit dry. It's still a good meal though. Portion is decent. But there is no keropok given. U have to order it as a side. 😔
Nothing special about the place. Chicken was way too dry. Missing orders, informed the bald staff not once but twice and was ignored. Really bad service.
Had ordered for Hari Raya event at workplace and was very pleased with the food (food was fresh and chicken was crispy!), prompt delivery and smooth process overall 🙂
