First time having Shanghainese food in Singapore. It’s my first time trying such dishes, so no idea if they are considered authentic or not. Have nonetheless ranked them according to my favourite to least favourite!

Pretty good Shanghainese restaurant with quite an extensive menu. The must orders are the vegetarian goose, dongpo rou (comes with mantou), the yellow croaker fish soup, the minced crab tofu, the claypot vege rice and also the sheng jian bao. Service is alright, but at least they do ask if we want them to portion the dishes for us such as the soup and rice.
Food is good. Having lived in Shanghai for 8 years, the dishes and taste are quite authentic. Yellow croaker soup is great, fragrant and fresh fish and the soup is so tasty, I could keep drinking. The prices are quite high though. 30 sgd for scallion noodles is really too much. Also when you come here, do wear more clothing as the AC is extremely cold… don’t understand why it has to be so cold inside a restaurant..
