Great diner for fresh sushi sets with awesome taste! Generally not too crowded which is great in the Tanjong Pagar area. Dinner sets are usually more expensive than lunch but the perk is that you’d more likely find a seat here than other restaurants around the area even without reservations. Soup is really nice and service staff is very attentive!
Sushi is very delicious！The best Sushi I ate in SG. It was same level as I ate in Tsukiji Tokyo before. Feeling great happiness! Thank you for provide high quality food!
After try many Japanese restaurant, this place is my favorite one. From what I read they are the only outlet in Asia.
The uni portion quite generous and taste very fresh, even though $80 is abit sour, last time they included special seasalt from Japan but recentlyI didnt see it.
Unagi omlette roll is a must try, the omlette so soft, abit sweet and super fresh hot inside.
Another must try is Tuna 3 kinds set, they are 3 kinds of tuna from normal to medium fat and extra fat, $35 for 9 slices is reasonable ( compare to Sushi Bar $50 for extra fat tune but I only feel it was just medium fat). Each slice also very thick.
They may crowded in lunchtime so better eat dinner there for less crowded.
One of the best and fresh sashimi I had in Singapore with affordable price. Is also my favorite place when I crave for sashimi. Thumbs up for the Chef.
lunch sushi set at $20 ($24 nett). although the seafood items are fresh, some of these are not of high value. the unfortunate disaster is the sushi rice (unfortunately dry and a little brittle - breaks into 2 before soy sauce dip *happened 3 times too). overall priced well within category, but I can’t say it a big steal either.
Maybe an error or a bad day, so I am hoping to give it another shot. I did not think it could be so bad since japanese chefs are running them....
The Yokozuna sushi set was on 50% offer. One of the best and most value for money sushi in SG! There's Uni too, even though there's a hint of sea taste.
Went to their outlet in Numazu, Japan, and was told that they just opened a new outlet in Singapore. I am amazed that they did not compromised much on quality and freshness of their fishes. This place will be my go-to place when I have sushi craving ;)
Really fresh sashimi, lunch set is more value for money than dinner.
