First tried Friends out of curiosity because it was around my neighborhood and it's quite rare to see a Korean resto in the North region (not in a mall).
I ordered a set that comes with army stew and kim chi pan cake plus alacarte Chicken wings for 3 pax on my first experience. It was alot for 3 ladies so it was worth the buck. Food was great too.
Immediately after my first time at Friends, i went back the next day with another friend to try their $19.90 pork belly buffet. It was SOOOOO good. The pork belly & collar were super thick and juicy. Unlike those budget, thin pork slices/bacon u get at other buffet restaurants.
Love the environment because it's a pretty chill place. Nice korean bosses too! Always enjoy chatting with them and getting to try interesting side dishes.

Excellent service, excellent food! Came to eat on my birthday and they asked me to order one on the house! The food is authentic, the staffs are Korean! Also the price is reasonable and considered cheap for the delicious quality of the food, better compared to more expensive, over-priced 'Korean' restaurants out there. 10/10 will come again ^^
Very nice and well marinated meats. Worth the price I paid for.
Staffs are very attentive, friendly and works fast too. Will bring more to come and enjoy your bbq.
Went for the weekend lunch buffet promotion which is very value-for-money. Food is nice.
Ambience may not be good but acceptable given the affordable price, better than other korean restaurants in town area. Restaurant was not very crowded on a weekend. Recommended overall if you have a korean food craving. lots of meat for BBQ and side dishes. Simple and no frills.
Weekday was not busy. Chicken wings & steamed egg was part of the buffet that we chose! Chicken wings & egg quite normal la…. I love their side dish anchovies the most hahahha super crispy & fragrant!! Meat & prawns were decent too. There’s Free ice cream too:)
Variety of appetisers and menu were not too bad, and staff were prompt and friendly. Overall, good place to have your korean food and BBQ fix for an affordable price.
I thought it was actually better than the ratings suggested. It competes directly with the other Korean restaurant across the street. And they both have similar offerings. I really liked the side dishes and the pork. Free flow ice cream is a plus too. Personally, I think Seoul Kitchen has better fried chicken. But Friends bbq meats are a tad better. Overall good value for money. Can’t go wrong with either buffets. See my other reviews on Seoul Kitchen.
Been here twice already. Still the best tasting korean BBQ i can find at an affordable price. Very well trained staff with good customer service. Really enjoy the ambiance here.
The service is great especially the male waiter! Enjoyed our dinner especially the pork belly. The pancake should be a bit more crispy... its was kind of soggy. Overall still a nice meal.
Affordable buffet and sufficient seatings.
Second visit- I ordered Kimchi pancake but they provided Seafood pancake. The uncle from kitchen was friendly to provide free steamed egg.
