The roasted chicken is very well marinated and delicious, we came without expectation and we left happy and pleased.
Burger is just average to me. Try the roast chicken it’s juicy and delicious, not overly spicy, even the chicken breast was juicy.
**Note, after the first review, i went 2 more times, i am loving the chicken, i wish i can cook breasts the way they do. To dear owner, i saw the promo today when i was there for lunch.
I’m a fan of eating grilled/roasted chicken And I’m really looking forward to try Oporto! Ordered the family meal which comes with mains(chicken), sides and drinks.
One word to describe my experience? Sedap(delicious in Malay). The chicken is well marinated and tender, love their corns as their sides too!
If you asked me why I didn’t give them the full 5 stars, it’s slightly because we ordered the Portuguese loaded chips(expected to be loaded), but it turns out that the cheesey sauce was pretty little.
Great to see Oporto finally opening an outlet Singapore! The service of the restaurant is not bad but the burgers could be improved. The size of the chicken breast fillet seems a tad too thin though.
Love the chicken - it’s juicy, tender & even the breast meat was well marinated. Ordered the half chicken (as shown in picture), was a little small. Docking one star because we ordered the Bondi Burger too and that tasted nothing like chicken (patty tasted sour and weird). Pretty value for money here too with Burpple beyond.
Grilled chicken was fantastic, tasty but not overpowering, and flesh was really moist and tender. The corn side dish was really tasty and fresh as well.
A couple of misses though. The spiced Rice was too dry and hard, and the chicken wraps were largely forgettable. They seemed to have used a different preparation of chicken compared with their grilled ones, and portions were miserly. I would say that it might actually rank below even the McDonald's breakfast wraps. That's bad.
Succulent and tasty chicken in original chilli flavour. Liked the fresh tasting coleslaw but spicy rice needs more seasoning as it tasted rather bland. Overall a good experience at Oporto.
So happy to finally see Oporto in Singapore. The chicken is grilled to perfection, coupled with their sauce, this is what makes the Bondi burger such a hit! Have been there multiple times after their opening, triple Bondi burger is definitely the favourite. Oh and not forgetting the chilli cheese chips as well! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
