The kway chap is well presented as can be seen from the photo. It is also a nice touch to serve the egg with runny yolk. It would be even better if the egg was well marinated. The kway chap soup is less salty than usual and the chilli here is unique, it's dipped in vinegar. Read the good reviews about the duck so I ordered duck rice for my son. They even provided soup for takeaway. He found the duck to be average only, also he is not a fan of salted vegetable which came with the rice.

Guilt-free kway chap. Meats were mostly lean with little fat. The chili seems little and not spicy at first but as you eat, the sourness cuts through the greasiness and everything becomes very appetizing. Paid $9 for kway chap 1 person set, which seemed a little high.

Estate delivery. The duck really nice and yummy. The kway chap has a very nice hint of herbal soup. The pig skin was fresh without piggy smell. All food packed very well. Love to order again.

I've seen a lot of reviews of their braised duck rice. FINALLY went to try it and love it. Its not one of the cheapest of course but it is definitely reasonably priced. Went for the bento set and love it! Taste good and nicely presented. The egg and rice balls makes the whole presentation unique. Definitely will return again!

Came as a family for dinner and we ordered from multiple stores for a mix of food. Thus ordered some duck portion and a mixed bento set just to try since I read about this stall. Teochew braised duck in general is lighter in dark sauce taste, and less sweet compared to other braised duck. Still, Teochew braising is fragrant with spices. Stepping up to the store, you can see from the menu sign while they are a Teochew Braised Duck and Kway Chup store, they present their menu and dishes in a Japanese setting with Bento sets and Ala Carte, repeating Japanese style many times. Which is probably why the Bento set came with a Ramen Egg or Ajitsuke Tamago, marinated hard boiled egg soft centred. The Bento set is great for a taste of everything. There's Pig Skin, Braised Pork Belly, Pork Intestines, Bean curd, Egg, Pickled veges and some duck. Though its quite little of everything, its enough for everyone to have a taste. And there's 3 balls of duck rice. Well Hainanese Chicken Rice made into Balls I knew but Duck Rice in ball is a first for me. Might be just a novelty thing and they alternate the balls with braised Daikon as a plating. The rice though is pretty flavourful. On the whole a nice Mixed Kway Chup set to share but I think its a little much too hearty meal for one person. Next the duck portion for 2 is a little average. The duck meat is tender but lack the taste and aroma of Teochew style braised spices. Good thing though is the chilli. The chilli is packed with umami and mixed with garlic vinegar, a Teochew favourite. Though we usually use that for fish. Nice blend at play. So in general this stall is better and first as a Kway Chup first choice, besides the flavourful rice.
