I tapowed the mee goreng with egg and chicken wing today and ate in an hour later but it still tastes so good! I’m a mee goreng lover and this tastes slightly different from the regular Malay style one we usually get in Singapore. It has lots of potatoes and cuttlefish, and did I also taste peanuts? The wing is without a thick coat of batter but it comes with crumbs which has so much “wokhei” and tastes a bit lemon grassy. The crumbs also go so well with the noodles. Shiok. The egg i got is fried to perfection. Cooked outside with a soft yolk. I got the them to give me some nasi lemak chilli got my chicken wing too and it’s home cooked and soooo yummy! I can buy a tub! Lots of effort folks and a v hearty fare, thumbs up!

Two thumbs up The nasi lemak with the fried chicken, fried anchovies, roasted peanuts, fried egg and sambal was super amazeballs! The fried chicken was so fragrant and succulent... And the mee goreng...just wow! Fried to perfection! Trust me... I'm a Penangite and I'm telling ya, this is the best Penang food, expertly prepared and cooked by a fellow Penangite! It felt like home away from home.... You just gotta try it to believe it! Ho chiak! Ho liao! Chiak Ho Liao!!

First time I ate there was at their first stall in Chinatown and the next time I was in Singapore, I took a 45mins bus ride to get to their new stall in Alexandra food village. The mamak mee goreng and nasi lemak are mouthwateringly delicious! The beef rendang was so tender and bursting with flavour! The acar served with the nasi lemak adds a fresh citrus taste and brings out the sambal and rendang even more. The fried chicken is also succulent and fragrant. Can't wait to go for more the next time I'm in Singapore. Wish I had a bigger stomach!

I’m from Penang and I must say with full approval that this is the real deal when it comes to comfort food that locals eat in Penang. Penang cuisine has a lot more to offer than the touristy-faves of char okay teow or Assam Laksa. This stall serves what we Penangites eat when we need a filling afternoon tea or a hearty breakfast. The nasi lemak features fragrant pillowy rice that should be comforting and familiar to Penangites and Singaporeans alike. But do try the different variety of side dishes and condiments that are not the usuals you find in Singapore. It’s really shiok! The mee goreng is sweet and full of crunchiness of peanuts just like what you will find in Penang. The locals in Singapore are welcome to come here and throw away their expectations of what a mee goreng is like (it’s all kinds of different in different states in Malaysia) and open their taste buds to something new. But for me, this is nostalgia at its best, and this is one stall I find myself coming to over and over again.

My favourite place for authentic Malaysian cooking. Love the nasi lemak with the fragrant rice, awesome sambal, crunchy peanuts and ikan bilis and most of all, the hard boiled egg. It's even more delicious when paired with the delicious beef rendang.

Just discovered this gem in Alexandra Village. Rendang was sold out so I had the fried chicken. Delicious! Cant wait to try the Rendang! Sambal is delicious and they serve their NL with half a boiled egg Malaysian style. Went back and managed to try their Beef Rendang & Otah. Both were delicious! No need to go to Malaysia for good Nasi Lemak anymore.

The only and most legit Penang mee goreng that I ever had in Singapore. Lady chef is also from Penang itself! Only suggestion would be for the mee goreng to be softer/slightly more moist and to taste eggier. Other than that, she completely nailed the overall flavour, chilli, wok hei and also placing it on a slice of Pandan leaf? That’s how you know it’s authentic. I’ll be back for more!!
