I had the "fusion" noodles, dry with soya. The chashu was a bit firm but huge. And the overall flavor for the sauce was a bit sweet. The sauce worked well with the Mee pok, just a tad bit oily. The taste is totally different from typical BCM, but for some reason it magically works. Definitely should try once.
But personally I think the original ones are better. Fusion gets 4 stars, the original gets 5 stars.
Worth the wait and the food is simply too delicious, had it almost everyd and not sick of it. The fusion of the japanese meepok is a must try! The staff are also very friendly and quick to order. Seen people adding orders after their orders being ordered and it's rlly unfair to the rest that is queueing behind as there is often a long queue everyday. Hope everyone confirmed their order and stop adding on to it after being confirmed so it'll reduce the hassle between both side.
Will come back and eat it soon! Gambatte!!!
After 1 hour of queuing... I finally get my hands on this Japanese make bak chok mee! Is really very nice... Putting a lot of our local Chinese hawker to shame... The noodle texture is great... Even I tapao back home the noodle is not in a lump... Every noodle texture is so Q... The ingredient is a lot too for the price I'm paying ($3.50)... And the soup is very tasty ($3.00) & it's cooked in a separate pot... I'm very impress with the mee bok... Will surely go back for more in the future! =)
