The 3 dishes I included in the photo are all taste good. Get a you zah gui from bak cho mee stall to eat with the porridge is just superb. Wanted to try the radish cake but the queue was too long. Hygiene wise, you’ll have to clean the table when you get seated. That’s the reason why it has one star lesser.

Old Estate Market cum Hawker Centre. Ample parking spaces. Surprisingly one can find many local delights here and it is also my first time eating here; definitely not the last. Tried this BCM stall the taste is very good too. Ample parking in the open air carpark! AB GRILL Western food price is reasonable; decent meal for the price.

On level two, you would see many stores selling delicious food. One particular store, #69, Serves one of the best black and white fried carrot cake at a reasonable price. The dish goes along well with the dessert store, #70, which can be experiential.

Salai Meatdrop is a hidden jewel within the Commonwealth Food Centre. It has really good steak at prices u can't believe. Meat is tender and melts in your mouth. There are 4 sauces which u can choose from. Service is also gd. The chef dropped by our table and asked if everything is good. He even topped up our sauces. The $50 set meal is a must-try.

This is one of the oldest food centers in Singapore. Many authentic hawker food stalls located on second floor e.g., Hong Kong style porridge, chicken rice, noodles, dessert, coffee etc. It is a good place for a nice meal at reasonable price. There is also an egg stall selling various type of eggs from local and Malaysia farms at the market.

This hawker centre is well known for a number of local food eateries (stalls). On this occasion, we had the "jok" (Cantonese rice porridge) that came with pitan (century egg), pork and liver. There is quite a selection of different rice porridge that come with different ingredients.

Nice and clean hawker center, with a food range of tasty food. My 1st try on fish head porridge is heavenly, although i am not a fan of fish head. Fresh fish and not too mushy porridge.
