Place was crowded around 6.45pm. Burger was quite good and price was justified. We ordered the umami and wolf burger and was delighted by the taste. The umami is special but too oily for my liking. Not the best place to get healthy food. We also ordered the sweet potato fries which were quite nice.
Their menu indicated that they had 7 sides, but only 3 were available. Hence, the 4 stars. As another guest mentioned, the truffle pasta salad was bland. I felt the truffle smell was strong but lacked a good amount of salt and pepper.
Out of their condiments, they had tomato sauce, chilli sauce and mustard. Would have been great if they had mayonnaise but that's just a personal preference. No points deducted there. In fact mustard would have warranted a plus point.
We paid sgd 35 for 2 burgers, 1 side, and 1 bug fries with 1 soda and 1 bottled beer. Quite an average price point for a filling dinner.
Nice meaty burger. Patty tasted fresh and hand made. Bun kept up well with the juices from the patty. Above average on pricey-ness. I had worse burgers at much higher prices, thus if I’m in the area this place is worth a try. Wouldn’t go out of my way for it. Staff was friendly too.
Tried the dry aged burger, cooked to medium. It was sizeable. The patty was juicy and tasty. Chipotle aioli gave it an interesting twist. Crispy fries went well with the burger, and was pleased that they had mustard in their selection of condiments.
Not sure if I missed it, but it would have been nice if the burger names had a description of their fillings/fixings in the menu. Has to ask what was in each burger.
