Crabs are very fresh. Portion for the Crab Bee Hoon just nice for 4 pax. Chili crab very tasty and a little spicy. The only down thing is while we are eating, there are small fruit flies that keep bothering us. So we have to keep fanning the food to keep the flies away.
Bought takeaway of (1) Crab Bee Hoon, (2) Cereal Prawn, (3) Salted Egg French Beans. The crabs and prawns were huge and fresh. The seasoning of the dishes is a little bit milder (i.e. less salty) than what you'd get from other places. And I liked it this way. Food was served quick too. The coffee shop also has someone checking vax status, so you can dine in >2 if you want.
The crab bee hoon is super good. The soup was excellent. You can request to add more noodles. The crab meat was tasty too. Tried the chilli crab too. The chilli sauce tasted different from the ones I have eaten. Crab size is between 800 to 950 kg but it was served with big claws. I would prefer the sauce to be less starchy. Other food in the menu which are good is the prawn paste chicken wings. They were nicely coated and the meat juicy on the inside 😋. The salted egg yoke prawns were delicious too and the size of the prawns are big too 👍. Yam cake and vegetables were also nice. Service was good and the place was airy and breezy. Good place to bring your family and invite your friends for a good meal. You won't be disappointed. Bon appetite!
Second time been to this place, we ordered black pepper crab, salted egg crab, two chilli crabs, broccoli with scallop, drunken prawn, prawn paste chicken and cereal prawn as well. Nice food and reasonable price.
Crabs are fresh, not all flavours are good. Salt and pepper crab , Beehoon soup crab not bad.
Chilli crab not nice, Gan Xiang crab too salty. Fried kailan too tough, hay zho has this frozen pork smell.
The crab bee hoon soup is really delicious, creamy and the crab was fresh tender and juicy. It's slightly on the pricey side, $79.90 for a 1kg crab and considering it's a neighborhood kopitiam, I will be conscious to pick my own crab and see them weigh it.
