A đź‘Ť place for steamboat buffet near bugis. They have seafood like crab, prawn and clams. A variety of 2 type soup base and bbq on the side. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Constantly clears up your plates as it stacks up. Comes with free flow of drink. A reasonable $35/pax Saturday dinner price. However, might have problem finding carpark space (roadside parking) . If not find somewhere near to park and walk there.
I do like kimchi soup in this restaurant. Staffs are so friendly. Food and drink’re quite good. But tables are so small, suitable for 3-4, not more than 5 people
Nett price for 2 pax on a weekend night buffet is $63.10. So $31.50 thereabouts per pax. Ambience is good, they occupy the corner stall so it’s airy and no smell of bbq at all. Also quite cooling at night. The grill and soup base pots are new and also has ample space to place your dishes.
Soup bases are chicken soup, mala, tomato, Tom yum, laksa and kimchi. Staff is really nice as they are prompt in helping you add soup etc.
What stands out for them compared to others would be the free flow drinks they provide (but water needs to be refilled often), and some hot food like pan fried dumplings guo tie (really good!), man tou etc. Also the highlight item to cook on grill is definitely their black pepper chicken. It’s marinated so well and so delicious by just normally frying it, that it tastes almost like restaurant grade cooking.
Would give their pork belly a miss though, too thin, doesn’t cook well on grill. Also the beef tastes rather odd. Prawns are also small and not so fresh. Crabs are big but not sweet and quite dry honestly.
No desserts were served even though I read some said there’s fruits and ice cream.
