I had a hire katsudon and some side dishes (see photos). The service is prompt and friendly. Their signature pork cutlets was tasty, but I felt that it could have been a little less oily. (not much hope there seeing as most of the menu is deep fried). It was not crowded and thus was quiet and relaxing.

Great service with helpful staff. Food was fresh and tasty.Tonkatsu were deep fried to a delicious golden brown. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The free flow short grain rice was really fragrant and yummy and the finely shredded Fresh cabbage was served Free flow too. Good for family and small group. Average S$35/pax. #TonkichiTonkatsu #mentaiko #RosuKatsu

Walked into this restaurant one day even though I didn't feel like having any deep fried food. Ended up ordering just a simple bara chirashi set meal and not expecting much. Turned out that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sashimi (I mean given that their speciality is more in the deep fried stuff). Service wise, they seemed to be a little under staff. Price wise, can afford to be a little less pricey. Other than that, I thought my visit was lovely overall
