I had a hire katsudon and some side dishes (see photos). The service is prompt and friendly. Their signature pork cutlets was tasty, but I felt that it could have been a little less oily. (not much hope there seeing as most of the menu is deep fried). It was not crowded and thus was quiet and relaxing.

Great service with helpful staff. Food was fresh and tasty.Tonkatsu were deep fried to a delicious golden brown. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The free flow short grain rice was really fragrant and yummy and the finely shredded Fresh cabbage was served Free flow too. Good for family and small group. First time trying this restaurant since there is no queue during dinner hour while everywhere else is full. Ordered a Cheese Kasa set & Rosu Katsu set and it came 15 minutes later. While the food look decent with huge serving of cabbage (refillable), the staff attitude wasn't. The cheese kasa set came with no cheese, the filling was empty and I checked with the staff and I was told it melted. What i found was only white fluid below the pork loin with no taste of cheese whatsoever. Menu illustrated a cheese filled (yellowish not white) katsu. To be honest, nothing too special about the place and food but the customer service and accuracy of food left a bad experience. Will not visit again.

Walked into this restaurant one day even though I didn't feel like having any deep fried food. Ended up ordering just a simple bara chirashi set meal and not expecting much. Turned out that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the sashimi (I mean given that their speciality is more in the deep fried stuff). Service wise, they seemed to be a little under staff. Price wise, can afford to be a little less pricey. Other than that, I thought my visit was lovely overall

Good quality authentic Japanese food with friendly service. The only complain is the portion size of the gindara is too small (as shown on the photo). Will come back to try other things on the menu.

Good and affordable Japanese meal. The tonkatau set comes with miso soup, refillable rice and cabbage.

Sashimi was also fresh and delicious despite being a Tonkatsu place. Will definitely visit again.
