Dined here as the restaurant offers a wide selection of yakitori, including cockscomb. Unfortunately chicken embryos appear to be no longer available on the menu. The food here, while decent, was nowhere as good as Shirokane Toritama’s outlets in Tokyo. As other reviewers have warned, the yakitori takes a long time to be prepared and some items were out of stock when I was there for a late dinner.
Authentic Japanese Yakitori restaurant and you can see how they grill skewers in front of you if you take counter seats. Better to make a reservation a few weeks before as it can be very busy even on weekday. Minus one star is for 1. It is pricey for what it is and there are similar quality of yakitori place with more reasonable price. 2. Service was a bit slow(e.g. first yakitori arrived 30-40mins after ordering).
Well marinated and grilled. If you’re not sure where to start with the innards, can try these: Neck, windpipe, heart (normal and special), gizzard, stomach, backside.
