Decent place for budget date night or group gathering. Nice deco n good vibe with live band on Friday to Sunday nights. Food wise You pay for what you get. The 5 course set menu at $38 is quite a steal but don’t expect big portions. Everything is bite size but you get to try more things. Highlight is the porcino cappuccino. Friday is ladies night so you get one free hendericks gin served in the cute tea cup and if you take a selfie with that cup of gin then post it on fb/ ig u can a second one for free. There’s certainly room for improvement but overall i liked the place for the price I pay
Service was top notch and food was good. Restaurant called to double check on the reservations. It's a cosy space and we came on a Sunday evening so it was not overly crowded or empty. Had the 4-course set meal with a nice complimentary birthday cake ❤️ had the mushroom soup, crab cake, beef cheek, duck confit and cheesecake. I'm not a duck person but the skin was crackling tasty.
Price is low for a posh restaurant. Expect prices of about $50 per person including appetizer, mains and dessert.
Decorations were modern with a touch of classical. The live band was perfect, playing relaxing, casual music.
Servers were especially friendly, warm and meticulous.
The food was 10/10, superb, especially the duck, which was the best I've ever had.
It is an excellent bar too, featuring an aquarium at the bar.
With a wide range of food from handmade pasta to beef cheek, a full drinks menu at affordable prices, this restaurant is a must try for any dinner date, gathering or birthday meal. Absolutely fantastic. 5 Stars.
