The staff was very accommodating in trying to find the 5 of us a place to seat even though we didn't book a table. Although the food took a while to arrive, it was worth it. Finished the entire plate. Quite pricey but its obvious whoever prepared the food have a passion in culinary. Great attention was put into preparing the meal.
My pregnant Wife and I literally sought refuge from the blistering sun here at the mad sailors. And we made the best decision to have done so. The cosy ambience amidst the Britney songs from outside the bar next door makes one feel relaxed. The staffs are always smiling and very friendly to everyone. And the food! Stupendously delicious! Beware of the servings though. I ordered too much that I couldn't finish them all. The cashier is nice enough to pack it up and wrote well wishes for Eid Mubarak on the paper bag!
Overall, I'd give the best rating for a perfect lunch or dinner at Haji Lane. For a decent bill, good vibes, smiley staffs and delicious halal English dishes, beverages and dessert, one must simply not ignore their presence in a vibrant location!

I saw not exactly a lot of favourable reviews before i ordered. Other than avoiding the badly reviewed cod fish & chips, the rest was pleasantly delicious! The pasta, beef and grilled fish was particularly done very well. The market soup is super corny for people who prefers corn. The butter beer was pleasant to drink.
The red sauce was delicious .
Seaweed butter was nice and the fish and batter was delicious.
Not sure why the sourdough needed to burn . I would have prefer it toasted and brown . But nevertheless, a good fish and chip. Fries was crispy.
The food is superb. We love ♡ all their menu & thank u chef for cooking delicious food. Staffs are friendly, the moment u take ur seat the crew will give u cold water :)
Lucky we managed to get a last free table, the place was packed even at 2pm
