Kemono

2nd review on complimentary order on 15-June 2018. Got a call from the mgmt of Kemono on 11-June 2018, after 10mins of survey & review on my previous"nightmarish" order. They send a complimentary order as compensation & thanked me for the review. I was rather surprised & impressed that the management who called back! But Yes, we are seeing a little eatery that truly values customers' opinions & reviews. And taking steps to improve their cooking & protecting their core business value. Now onto the chicken & wings, whole chicken is still no doubt as tender as before. The chicken wings now has a "gingerly" taste (not complaining) rather than prev. bland episode. They managed to improved the rosti too, now is warm & soft! All chicken, wings & legs are cooked thoroughly! Some may say I ate a complimentary meal & i "have" to say good review, etc etc. I'll leave this to their own thoughts. Thank you Kemono for the effort & valuing customers' feedback. Keep up the good work & continue stringent monitoring of your kitchen. Previous review (1star) Ordered online 3 Chicken leg (Rice, Mashed Potato & Rosti) , 1 Healthy Roast Chicken & 3 x Lemongrass Wings. Paid over $80s in total for 3pax dinner. Boxes looks big but Disappointing that the chicken legs are so small sized. Roast Chicken is no doubt tender. Lemongrass Wings is the worse wings that i ever consume to date, 3 tasteless whitish wings for $9 and its half cooked, raw inside. Rosti is like a piece of rock (dunno how they did it). Now, for the taste, as shown in ad there is spice & herbs, nothing of tat kind on Roast Chicken or Chicken Legs. Just plain slow roast chicken. Delivery took 60mins (to Jurong) so its still good. My wife & kid did enjoyed using plastic glove to grab the drumstick. Conclusion : OVERRATED despite those 5stars goody comments. Healthy food doesnt mean tasteless food.

The chicken is tender and seasoning is nice. Packaging is very kawaii as well. I went for self collection, and you can park your car just opposite the shop.

Ordered the 'buy 4 free 1 pie' combo n basically tried all flavours except for Hokkaido truffle prawn n scallop (oos). The pies arrived warm n within expected time range. Taste wise, they were flavourful but not overly salty. Fillings were generous. Loved the bite-sized chunks of meat n mushrooms. My last favourite pie was Tokyo triple cheese beef bc the sliced cheese atop the pie barely had any cheese taste n certainly did nothing to enhance the overall taste of the pie. As compared to the other beef pies on their menu, this pie was the most underwhelming. Another thing is their boiled eggs. The yolks had a rubbery texture upon chewing n I'm not sure of the reason. Either they remove the eggs or improve the texture bc the rubbery feel kind of affects the pie-eating experience.

Sometime back, we craved roasted chicken and started surfing online for veritable options. Strange, but at that moment, something popped up from my FB page, and this place appeared. I looked at the price, and it seemed reasonable for organic fowl, so a few clicks later, and we had a full chicken and 2 pies to boot for dinner. The chicken stole the show for us. I dunno how they do it, but the meat was moist, whilst the skin is succulent crispy, with saltine flavours reminiscent of French butter, but it wasn't oily. The marinating went thoroughly into every part of the chicken and did I mention it was so tender, the parts ripped right off with a gentle tug. We made short work of this meal, and it was burpy good! Next time we have anymore chicken cravings, I know where to start looking:)

Kemono, my favorite roasted chicken After our recent order from Kemono, we received the delivery in nice packaging. The chicken was pipping hot with irresistible fragrant aroma. Great taste and healthier choice as roasted chicken has lesser oil content compared to typical fried chicken. Their assorted pies are equally delicious too. Recommended and hope to order more in future.
