Town Cafe is a place one must visit the cuisine here is so amazingly present one can't resist I had a wonderful time here the staff here is so friendly.
Jtown cafe a very nice looking place located on orchard road
They have the most delicious tasting food I have ever tasted close by
Should recommend his one to everyone out there
this is my favorite restaurant when I miss my hometown! They have mie ayam (chicken noodle) and martabak manis! The price quiet over but It’s worth it, than I should buy the airplane ticket haha
They have a really friendly service staff and that speaks volumes as that is the only thing that creates a lot over food and all, had a really nice experience on having food from here!
I love noodle. This is food fresh in the menu, worth for money though. It’s delicious but is really too spicy. I supposed the chili in the bowl are not imported from Malaysia :))
Great food (my favorites are Bakmie Ayam, Bakmie Ayam Cabe Ijo & Martabak Special Ovopop), very reasonable price for Orchard area and excellent service.
Indonesian hawker food kind of cafe. Food is relatively affordable.
Mie goreng set lunch (with bakso and iced tea) $6.5- wetter than what mie goreng is (from my memory), a but different in taste but was decent
Chocolate martabak $3.2-quite possibly my favorite indonesian food. Felt that their's do it justic@e, thick, butterry, sweet, melts in your mouth
Service 4/5
Ambiance 3.5/5
F&B 4.5/5
I grew up in Bandung but left long ago and haven't had Batagor for at least 2 decades. I would say, it is not very close to what i had when i was a kid but it does reminds me of the good old days. I somehow recall that i was usually served with kecap manis, which i was not offered here when i have my Batagor.
Another thing worth noting is that the teh botol sosro, per picture, is served in a ice cup, not really in a bottle as the name would suggest (yeah, i know, it is a brand name, clearly i was assuming it to be in a bottle).
I wish to try out the martabak, but i am dining in solo, definitely won't be able to finish it with Batagor at the same time.
Probably will try that out next time and update my review.
Edited after 2nd visit:
Ordered martabak keju and ice teh tarik.
The martabak was good but the teh tarik was tasteless.
Authentic indo noodles and sweet pancakes.
I think the noodles were made by themselves.
Maybe not order the pancakes with noodles as it can be very filling.
Good food and worth the try.
There was a queue even for Tuesday night dinner at 7.30 PM (last order 7.50ish). Staffs were busy but were very sweet and helpful. Good bakmi. Al dente noodles, pretty big portion.
Nice noods but a little exp. Savoury and a bit oily. Saucey too. Please mixed well be for eating.
Teh Tarik Ais very sweet for me.
Good selection of noodle bowls. Mostly dry with optional soup on the side or noodle soup. It's halah so mostly with chicken and no pork. It's delicious. The meat balls are also yummy.
Plenty of seats and the service is speedy. In the afternoon, there is a.combo option of noodle with meatball soup and ice tea (regular or green tea) as sides.
