The first time we walked into the hotel, we loved it directly. The big spacious high ceiling lobby with its modern fusion atmosphere really soothed our senses. Loved it! Kids love it! The staff were friendly. Within walking distance, you'd reach the MRT station; very convinient even for foods and old market(lau pasat). Staying at Carlton was perfect for us. Carlton even prepared a handy mobile phone for us to us while staying there. We had everything we need � The room was fantastic. Big spacious bed room and also spacious bath room with bath tub and walk in shower. Just loved it. Last but not least, loved the city view through the large glass window inside our room!

I stayed here for 4 weeks. The bed was great. The room was very nice. The breakfast buffet Included local and International foods and was good. The staff and services were all very high level. Located in Tanjong Pagar area. Across the street was a 24 hour food market. Also across the street were some great street food and restaurants. A short walk away was a hawker centre and Chinatown. Subway was a very short walk away and buses ran right outside. Concierge service was very helpful booking tours and giving directions.

I had the Meat On Thursdays offer at Plate restaurant on the 3rd floor - ordered the ribeye steak and my wife had the rack of lamb, both medium rare, and they were cooked to perfection! Although they offered 3 different sauces to go with, it was delicious and juicy enough to go without any sauce. Kudos to the chef - a lot of restaurants tend to serve beef with medium doneness even though medium rare was ordered. The evening ended with some drinks at the rooftop bar - great atmosphere for a perfect chilli it after dinner! Will definitely come more often :)
