A must visit for people who love local hawker food. Bedok 85 needs no introduction for people living in the Eastern part of Singapore as it is easily one of the most visited and crowded hawker. There is a wide variety of food that ranges from souppy goodness to bbq all time favourites. The 2 famed Bedok 85 bar chor mee brand can be found right here in this hawker centre. There are 2 stall (Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian and Seng Hiang Bak Chor Mee) and you can't missed them as they are just side by side, one with red and one with yellow signboard. It is always filled with endless people queueing up for a bowl of bar chor goodness. To be really honest, my favourite one is still the one in yellow signboard, Xing Ji Rou Cuo Mian. One thing to note is that the red sign board, seng hiang has a dried version for people who prefer dried bar chor mee. There is another stall behind these 2 stalls called 'ah poh bar chor mee' that is worth to try if you have already tried both of these famous one. Other delicacy that is worth mentioning will be chai Chee pork porridge, ah balling tang yuan, satay, chicken rice and bbq seafood. In my opinion and personal preference, for the best bbq seafood experience such as bbq stingray and lala, you might want to try chomp chomp bbq. There are also plenty of shops around this area for your shopping needs. There's hardware stores, bread bakery, hair saloons and coffeeshop if you wished to try something else.

Great place with a lot of good food. Food is cheap in general. Had Swatow wanton mee and Fuzhou oyster cake. Both are great. Will be better if those bak chor mee are open for breakfast

Bedok 85 Market is a place I always visited when I stayed at Bedok 6 years ago for a short period of time. The famous stalls that is a must to visit is the fried oysters omelette, stingray and their famous bak chor mee soup. The bak chor mee soup is a comfort food to me whenever I craving for a good noodle soup. Don’t give it a miss if you are nearby!

I have to recommend this Fishball/Meatball stall at BEDOK 85 Fengshan hawker centre. The Bee Tai Bak and kway Teow fishball/meatball soup is really yummy and awesome. With the red chillies in the soup taste even more delicious and you will feel contented after eating it. You need to go along with a cup of hot coffee and tea, your meal will be perfect for the day. The uncle’s kindness thought is greatly appreciated too- he waited for me to get my tea before he cooked my bowl of noodle. 👍

Had gone there for lunch - the food was good. Unfortunately many stalls weren't open yet. Will definitely go there during dinner time someday.

It’s everything you can ask from a hawker place. Wide option on Food and drink. Fresh veggies, fish and meat option if you are coming early morning.

12 May 2022: Wanted to try wanton noodles but landed with laksa from SWATOW WANTON NOODLE. Surprisingly it’s pretty good, the gravy is reasonably thick and it comes with cockles, beansprouts, fishcake and taupok. 23 Jan 2022: Fu Zhou Oyster Cake ($10 for 3 pcs)……not easily found in Singapore; crispy outside and very flavorful inside. Freshly made upon order……generously filled with prawn, minced meat, and oysters. 85 Big Prawn Noodles ($5.50 for dry version)……ordered the dry version (comes with a bowl of soup) and has a good combination of chili and sauces. The soup is flavorful and has a spicy twist. Aug 2021: Ordered takeaway from Seng Hiang Bak Chor Mee and Chai Chee Pork Porridge. Best bak chor mee (minced pork noodle) in the East and probably in Singapore too. My choice is the soup version and it's super yummy. The porridge is an ultimate comfort food that will warm your heart and your stomach...Yummy!

Really like the satay bee hoon available in the evening only and until about 8:30pm only. Be ready to queue for 30mins but worth it - $4 large portion with lots of pieces of meat, liver, tau pok etc, also generous with bean sprouts and satay sauce. Chai chee porridge is traditional goodness. Very glad to get the almond milk from the Ah Balling stall. ❤ the dumplings have thin skin and good amount of filling, we still prefer the peanut filling.
