I really liked my order of ramen and fried pork. The Gyu don was awesome and delicious! The sushi however, was very normal and I think both the seafood lacked freshness and the sushi rice lacked flavor, both did not mix well. Overall I enjoyed my dinner.
Edit: updated to 5 star, came back for supper at 12am. Not easy to find conveniently located quality food at that hour.
Came here very often for late night supper. One of the hidden gem in sg to have such good food in such late night. Always come here for their garlic fried rice and okonomiyaki recommended by the manager KS, if you are fan of garlic their fried rice is legit good. And they have good quality sushi nicely prepared not like other place when u pick up one sushi all of it starting to fall apart. Overall enjoy every dish with good customer service especially served by KS.
Total bill:$70+ for 2pax
Operating hours: 5pm-6am daily
Was in the area running an errand when we were reminded of this saved place, and went for it since it has pretty good reviews.
Ambience was okay, not the usual Japanese vibe you will get from shopping mall restaurants.
Service was great, the auntie serving us has difficulty walking around but still treated us earnestly 👍🏻
🍜 Food wise, I quite like the volcano ramen for how the flavour adds up - pretty unique and can be rather spicy for the first bite
🍚 garlic fried rice with onsen eggs was pretty much the highlight of the night - the garlic taste really shine through, coupled with the bits of fried eggs and running onsen egg, it’s a dish to come by for, 5 🌟 on its own!
🍣 the chicken floss and pork cutlet roll was passable, not the best we have tried - maybe it felt too dry from us not utilising the soy sauce
Scallops were quite unique, paired with black pepper sauce and cucumber, it is certainly refreshing.
Can’t find any wow factor other than the garlic fried rice, will consider returning if I’m craving specifically for that 👍🏻
